Have noticed a change in Victoria (Aus) over the last couple years of changes to govt. logos and presentation in general, including most notably colors used in certain circumstances.

One thing that has stood out very obviously this last few months that i have only just clicked on, is that Victoria has always been represented by royal blue as a state color, including the notable 'Melbourne' commercial logo, i.e. used at the Aus F1 GP that everyone would see internationally.

Recently, the press conferences that the premier has been standing in front of, has now become notably purple.

I noted anons talking about purple and certain logos at some point recently, and so did a quick look into masonry colors and the meaning of purple:

"Purple, being a mixture of blue and red, is, to the Mason, the symbol of fraternal union because it is composed of the color adopted for the Master Mason's Lodge and that adopted for the Chapter of Royal Arch Companions, these two Masonic bodies being indissolubly connected since the Royal Arch is an essential and component part of the present-day mutilated Master Mason's degree. For this reason purple is adopted as the proper color for the Mark, the Past, and the Most Excellent Master degrees, to symbolize the fact that those degrees connect the Master Mason's degree with the Royal Arch."

"The combination of red and blue into purple or violet, is the color of the York Rite Mark, Past, and Most Excellent Master degrees which fall between the degree of Master Mason and that of the Royal Arch. Mackey says that the color purple in this case therefore symbolizes the close connection and harmony which should ever exist between these two portions of the Masonic System. This would indicate a transitional blending from blue toward red.14 Portal's Symbolic Colors states that purple, in the profane language of colors, symbolizes constancy in spiritual combats because blue denotes fidelity and red, war.15 We know that purple has always been an emblem of exalted office and purple the legendary color of the robes of kings and high priests. The purple dye at that time reportedly could only be produced by crushing a certain shellfish, murex, from Phoenicia, which made it very expensive and contributed to limiting its use."
