diint anyone catch and save that post a month or so ago about how after Bush v Gore something was enacted that gave the president the responsibility to ensure the elections were conducted appropriately? Or some such thing like that. Seemed at the time like right on information, wish I'd kept it. Tried the board search but butkuss. seemed like the gist was that he could ban the mail ballots and make everyone in states that hadn't had previous mail balloting in place vote in person. I'm expecting the NG to conduct a lot of the polling ops and might even require the finger in the inkpot.
