Where is the power going?

Dropping costs (and subsidies) for solar and wind have caused the shutdown of traditional generation (hydro, gas, nuclear).

There hasn't even been a new hydro built in decades.

So when it gets really hot in the evening hours (when the solar drops off)… and its not windy… then we have a shortage of power supply.

Plus its when everyone runs their AC.
