Today I helped complete strangers and for some reason I have never felt better.
A local freebie ad listing numerous items free to take. I show up and the item I was interested in was gone. I see a couple trying to get an item into their car however it would not fit no matter how they tried.
I was about to leave and I looked over at them one last time. I watched them struggling and I felt so much empathy for them. You could tell really needed the item so I asked them if they wanted me to put it in my truck and would follow them home. They agreed and I followed them home and helped unload it.
They were so happy.
I really felt good after that.
