Retired military general and Biden operative General McChrystal’s “Defeat Disinfo” was removed today from the internet after our earlier report on its shady and potentially corrupt status.
We noted this morning that Democrats are using US Military funded artificial intelligence software to combat American citizens’ online efforts to promote President Trump.

A new Democratic-aligned political action committee advised by retired Army Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the former head of U.S. forces in Afghanistan, is planning to deploy technology originally developed to counter Islamic State propaganda in service of a domestic political goal – to combat online efforts to promote President Donald Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.
The group, Defeat Disinfo, will use artificial intelligence and network analysis to map discussion of the president’s claims on social media. It will seek to intervene by identifying the most popular counter-narratives and boosting them through a network of more than 3.4 million influencers across the country – in some cases paying users with large followings to take sides against the president.
The initiative reflects fears within the Democratic Party that Trump’s unwavering digital army may help sustain him through the pandemic, as it has through past controversies, even as the economy craters, tens of thousands have died, and Trump suffers in the polls.
“It’s often said campaigns are a battle of ideas, but they’re really a battle of narratives,” said David Eichenbaum, a Democratic media consultant who is a senior adviser to the PAC. “Today those narratives spread quickly online.”
The initiative is run by Curtis Hougland, whose received initial funding for the technology from DARPA, the Pentagon’s research arm, as part of an effort to combat extremism overseas. He insists Democrats are ill-prepared for the looming battle over information and attention, which is bound to play an outsize role in November.

Portland Police Stand By as Antifa Rioters Set Mattress on Fire Despite County Burn Ban
On Sunday night, antifa rioters gathered in front of the Portland Police North Precinct, chanting, “Burn it down!” as they set fire to a mattress in the street. Even though Multnomah County had a burn ban in effect due to “extremely dry conditions,” police allowed the fire to burn for some time before finally deciding to intervene.
Antifa rioters began to march to the North Precinct at about 9 p.m. Pacific, the Portland police reported. The rioters had targeted that particular station many times in the recent past, setting fire to it while barricading the doors in what even Mayor Ted Wheeler (D-Portland) acknowledged was an attempt to murder police officers. The precinct, which operates 24-7, is connected to multiple private businesses and is located in a densely-populated neighborhood.
“Burn it down!” the mob chanted. They lit a mattress on fire in the middle of the street.
Multnomah County has a burn ban in effect “due to extremely dry conditions,” the police press release noted. Despite this burn ban, the police did not immediately engage the fire.
“Because it was not an immediate threat to life safety or structures, officers remained far back and did not engage,” the police noted. Only as the fire grew did they begin to reconsider.
After antifa rioters added another mattress and some yard debris to the fire, sending lit embers into the air, “Portland Fire and Rescue expressed concern about the danger the fire posed to the community.”
At that point, the police notified the mob that firefighters would extinguish their fire. When police finally moved in, most of the mob moved back. The fire department extinguished the fire and then police again withdrew.
“Officers discovered one arrestee was in possession of a glass jar filled with flammable liquid. Another had a bottle containing an accelerant and a slugging weapon known as a slung shot,” police reported. “Still another had an electronic control weapon (‘stun gun’) and a baton. Two arrestees had ballistic vests, including one, marked with the word ‘press,’ with rifle plates.”
If Multnomah County had a burn ban in effect, why did the police not immediately rush to put out the fire? Would the cops merely stand back if they heard about a bonfire in a resident’s backyard?

On Saturday the Biden Campaign released an online ad on YouTube on how President Trump failed the United States by taking on China and lost 300,000 jobs.

Kamala Harris Told Jacob Blake, Facing Sexual Assault Charge, She Was ‘Proud’ of Him: Crump
Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) told Jacob Blake Jr. on Monday that she is “proud of him and how he is working through his pain,” according to attorney Benjamin Crump, who represents the Blake family.
Blake was shot seven times from behind in a confrontation with Kenosha, Wisconsin, police on Aug. 23. He was wounded and paralyzed from the waist down. The incident sparked local riots, and Blake became the latest victim to be championed by the Black Lives Matter movement.
At the time of the confrontation, there was a warrant for Blake’s arrest for “third-degree sexual assault, trespassing and disorderly conduct,” according to the Associated Press. A knife was found in his car, Wisconsin authorities later revealed.
Blake Jr. spoke publicly for the first time on Saturday night, releasing a video from his hospital bed in which he spoke about pain from his injuries, adding: “Please, I’m telling you, change your lives out there.” He also appeared in court via video on Friday, pleading not guilty to the pending charges against him, which are not related to the Aug. 23 shooting. As local NBC affiliate WTMJ-TV noted:
According to a criminal complaint filed in July, Blake is accused of sexually assaulting a woman back in May. The woman told police that Blake also took her car keys and a debit card from her before fleeing. Blake was also charged with disorderly conduct – domestic abuse and criminal trespass – domestic abuse.
Harris, who is the running mate of former Vice President Joe Biden on the Democratic Party’s 2020 presidential ticket, visited with members of the Blake family on Monday as part of a visit to Milwaukee. She spoke to Blake Jr. by phone.
In a statement, Crump called Harris’s meeting with the family “inspirational and uplifting.” He noted: “In a moving moment, Jacob J. told Sen. Harris that he was proud of her, and the senator told Jacob that she was also proud of him and how he is working through his pain … Sen. Harris also discussed the policy changes that she and Vice President Biden will seek.”

Last Thursday, Biden visited Kenosha and also visited with the Blake family, including Jacob Blake Sr. — despite the latter’s lengthy record of racism, antisemitism, and anti-Christian invective on social media. Biden called for the police officer who shot Blake, Rusten Sheskey, to be criminally charged.
The Monday before, Biden had also blamed the police, calling their actions “systemic racism.” He failed to condemn the ongoing riots until two days later, after public criticism from allies.
Last Tuesday, President Donald Trump visited Kenosha and spoke with Pastor James E. Ward Jr., the pastor for Blake Jr.’s mother, Julia Jackson.
It was not precisely clear which members of the Blake family Harris met Monday.
Crump is representing Blake in the shooting, but not the criminal case. He has represented many key victims in the Black Lives Matter movement, and also represented the family of Trayvon Martin.

The 16th Annual 9/11 Truth Film Festival
2020 is an unusual year; weddings have been cancelled, schools closed, almost all large public gatherings banned, the global economy dismantled; the middle class and Main Street’s small and medium sized businesses are struggling to survive. In California, the film industry, the theaters have been hit hard. The Grand Lake Theater, which has generously hosted countless events and 15 prior 9/11 Truth Film Festivals is currently closed.
In March, the Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance could no longer meet legally and was forced to hold meetings in cyberspace. No Lies Radio, hosted Zoom meetings for the group; discussions and organizing continued, despite the obstacles and challenges that everyone faced The group voted to go “virtual” this year, with the assistance of No Lies Radio, who has been web-streaming the live Film Festival for many years.
The Grand Lake Theater created a wonderful space for public interaction. The lobby was always filled with tables and the opportunity for people to converse, share materials, organize, inspire and support one another. It was where the choir met. There were hugs, the opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones. The unique atmosphere of an old-style theater with popcorn, cookies, kindred spirits gathering together, in person, was a wonderful experience for many people.. However, a virtual Film Festival is the best we can do, under the current circumstances, when Draconian laws mandate social distancing and mask wearing. Online webinars do allow some interactivity, questions and answers, and bringing in distant speakers. Guns and Butter’s Bonnie Faulkner will kick off the Film Festival, as she has for 16 years. The Film Festival will be held Thursday, September 10th, noon to 8:00 pm Pacific Daylight Time.
