>Boycott China

>If you see it is "made in China" don't buy it. It is a small patriotic duty you can do. If everyone does this one small thing, it will have a yuuuuuge impact on the Timeline.

Catching up anons, and THIS is what I just did! Hive mind.

Was at the fabric store, purchasing some cotton for masks (kiddos need in order to attend school). There were two choices that were thin cotton, easy to breathe through - one made in Chyna, the other in Pakistan.

My $$ went to Pakistan! (by choice)

>if you believed in boycotts than

>both of those countries should be boycotted.

You mebbe correct anon, but limited choice this a.m.

>I think you say this just because you want to make anon look foolish.

Not at all. If anyone looks foolish, it would be me.

There was a higher priced choice (+$2/yd) made in USA from "imported ingredients" or somesuch. That didn't breathe well at all, so not viable choice.

I did buy some muslin as well, and looking at bolt detail, it's made in China. There wasn't a choice on that one.

Just by not shopping at Walmart, buying local whenever possible, and always seeking high-quality products, have significantly reduced ALL imported products.

Now, the sewing machine to sew these masks? Designed in Japan, but made in China. And it's a real quality unit. (though the table, legs, and servo-motor, also made in China are shit-quality!). Hope to find a Japanese made unit for next sewing machine purchase, but choice is often limited.

Interdasting. Hadn't seen before, but makes sense that the LOOKING GLASS results are more clear the nearer the time horizon. Likely not linear as well, so there would be a 'cut off' time when it just gets too fuzzy to call it a prediction and turns into a guess.
