PALM BAY, Fla. (WESH) – An explosion was reported at a chemical plant in Palm Bay on Tuesday.
According to NBC affiliate WESH, police are asking people to avoid the area. The explosion happened at Far Chemical Inc., in the area of U.S. 1 and Conlan Boulevard and Palm Bay Road.
County officials are asking nearby residents to shelter in place. The chemical plant has been evacuated, reported WESH.
Officials said no injuries have been reported.
