Um guys, I just got a screen that said "hotspot login". I'm on a desktop with no radio that I know of. Cell phone is nearby. Ubuntu Linux (Beaver LTR). I see no wireless connections in the network settings and there is no Bluetooth dongle.

I have never seen that screen before and it was only onscreen for a moment.

Gut check wonders if it was only onscreen long enough to minimize and is still running somewhere.

The cellphone had hot spot detection on (must be a default) but again, no radio on the desktop.
