The bible skims over the issue but leaves enough clues. It is through other books of the apocrypha that put the event in more context.

In the bible, Eve claim that the lord gave her a child.

That child was not considered of pure blood and also became the first murderer. (If this child was truly of God then why is not considered of pure blood? Why would the offspring that God produced through Eve be a murder? That is opposite of what God is about.)

The next son of Adam and Eve was Seth who was considered of pure blood.
