dreamstime mini summary

Ok, here's what I recall. Can't find the screenshots I took, but this head info will have to do.

  • serban enache is the ceo. There is an author of the same name, but not born in the same year, red herring.

  • here is his profile on the site: https://www.dreamstime.com/achilles_info

  • interview with him: https://www.stockphotosecrets.com/interviews/interview-with-the-ceo-of-dreamstime-serban-enache.html

  • I'm having a hard time finding it now, but there was a list of the companies that have corporate accounts with dreamstime. The few that I remember are coca-cola, proctor and gamble and google... the page with all the logos got shoah'd. VERY SUS.

  • I don't have instagram, but here's a link to his account: https://www.instagram.com/p/B3dzrKone7u/?igshid=1qvkfd77123ws

  • another interview with the ceo:

  • dreamstime in the news:

  • dreamstime is a florida llc: https://florida.intercreditreport.com/company/dreamstime-com-llc-l05000103812

  • other execs:

Mihai Jianu Dragos

Jeff Prescott

  • microsoft tried to buy dreamstime in 2008:

The larger story was that I was finding it very difficult to correlate the amount of traffic on the site (#703 in the world, all visits from USA, Russia and India) with the amount that they were paying out (back of the napkin math)

Check this out: https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/dreamstime.com

vs the amount of people complaining that payouts are nothing compared to what they expected (https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/dreamstime.com, https://www.bbb.org/us/tn/brentwood/profile/stock-photos/dreamstimecom-llc-0573-37043576, https://www.complaintsboard.com/dreamstime-b124335). Honestly, just search "dreamstime scam" and you'll see plenty of folks bitching about the payouts.

What we did:

searched for all the classic pedo lingo (pizza, hot dogs, map, handkerchief, etc), as well as for girls, boys, etc. No hits on the pedo stuff, some risque images of boys and girls, but following the tags on there and digging along those lines just turned up a few accounts that were questionable, but nothing illegal.

how can you help

  • search the site for maybe a hidden subdomain or something not on the clearnet

  • try spoofing a corporate account and see what you can turn up

  • followup some of the risque kid picture posters and see what else you can find (it's hard to do for longer than a couple hours, makes you sick, so be mindful)

  • if you're a three letter agency fag lurking, maybe consider dropping anons a small hint. The problem with hunting CP is you might find some.

notable

however, anon, the only link is the wikipedia page. Corbis = getty images = snapvillage, but there's no link between dreamstime and snapvillage that I can see yet besides the page. Will dig for more evidence!

Yes, I did some research into this, nothing was much over what amounted to like $25 or so. They use their own credits to obfuscate price, and that's one of the things that customers complain about heavily - they pull some shady shit with recurring billing and only removing the watermark on one photo, etc.

corbisimages resolves to gettyimages. try it. corbisimages.com. Corbis sold its image business to getty, including snapvillage, which also redirects to getty images for me.
