I guess its time to write legislation that limits generals' retirement pension if they choose to work for certain industries, or foreign entities. e.g., former NSA director Alexander working for Amazon. Seems like he is profiting from his former position, with a company competing for government contracts. Conflict of interest. Ethical conflict. Still bound by his oath and UCMJ. Others have done/are doing the same. POTUS called them out, and they don't like it. Revoke their pensions. Reduced pay for reduced services. You never completely retire from government. Senators and Congressional reps ought to forfeit personal enrichment at taxpayer expense.
