Democrats have a plan: threaten their way into the White House

If the idea of a November spent hunkered down at home with mass protests and violence again roiling the streets sounds appealing, don't worry: The left has a plan for that.

A coalition of influential progressive groups—including the SEIU, AFT, Color of Change, Indivisible, MoveOn, and Demos—is organizing, the Daily Beast reports, for "mass public unrest": "Occupy shit, hold space, and shut things down, not just on Election Day but for weeks."

Only a fool would think that this "nonviolent civil disobedience" will stay nonviolent after a summer that's seen over 500 riots across the nation. In 2000 we had the Brooks Brothers riot; in 2020, Democrats are promising the real deal.

There's a reason these "secret" plans were revealed in painstaking detail to a sympathetic outlet, one that would repeat fever dreams about "MAGA violence after election day." It's the latest example of the left's campaign of extortion: If you want the protesting, rioting, and murder wave to end, all you have to do is hand Joe Biden a landslide.

The organizations claim to be preparing for an election "without a clear outcome," or the possibility that President Donald Trump refuses to concede. Of course, they have also worked to assure an ambiguous election night by pressing for a massive, disorganized switch to mail-in voting, even as public health experts say in-person voting is as safe as grocery shopping.

Both the promised unrest and the scaremongering over the possibility Trump will not concede are part of the same drumbeat that Democrats have marched to over the past four years: Trump, and indeed the entire GOP, are not just bad but illegitimate.

That's why talking heads keep repeating the long-debunked claim that Russia handed Trump the White House; why prominent Democrats pretend Stacey Abrams is the governor of Georgia; why Biden-aligned postal unions invented a crisis at the Post Office; why Hillary Clinton has told Joe Biden not to concede.

And of course it’s why Democrats are so invested in convincing voters that Trump and his white supremacist army are preparing a coup d'état, even as the Democrats involved in this ludicrous exercise plot just that—the story concludes with a hypothetical Biden campaign call for the secession of West Coast states should Trump prevail in the Electoral College while losing the popular vote. That would be an act of treason just as surely as it was 160 years ago.

The (vanishingly small) possibility that Trump refuses to leave the White House if he loses is irrelevant. The person that the Electoral College—or, in the event of a tie, the House of Representatives—selects as president will become the president. Should he lose the election, at noon on January 20, 2021, Trump would turn into a pest for the Secret Service to escort off the property. Our constitutional system is well-designed for such an orderly proceeding.

But Democrats have every reason to gin up this and other "election day nightmares," because their electoral strategy is to use these as an excuse to threaten more rioting in the streets—whatever they need to do to retake power.

Reasonable patriots should not be afraid to call this behavior what it is: a campaign by insurgent ideological groups to threaten and intimidate their way to victory. Such conduct, such a campaign to cow the populace into scared submission, is nothing less than electoral terrorism. And Americans should not bend an inch.

US Companies Vow To Stay In China Despite Souring Relations, Trump Threats

Only about 14% of the companies surveyed said they thought geopolitical problems will be resolved within a year

U.S. companies in China said they will benefit from the huge nation’s growing middle class

China’s dollar-denominated exports rose by 9.5% in August on a year-over-year basis

U.S. companies operating in China have largely rejected pleas by President Donald Trump to depart the country despite growing tensions between Beijing and Washington.

According to a survey by the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, or AmCham, 92% of respondents declared they will stay in China, while more than 25% worried that trade tensions between the two superpowers will last "indefinitely" – up from about 17% one year ago.

Only about 14% of the companies surveyed said they thought these problems will be resolved within a year, CNN reported.

Almost 32% of respondents said the chilled U.S.-China relationship has hurt their efforts to retain staff in China.

The survey of more than 300 companies took place in June and July.

"What is likely underpinning this sense of negativity is concern about broader U.S.-China relations," AmCham Shanghai said.

Since the survey was conducted relations between the U.S. and China have worsened over a plethora of issues – the White House has threatened to ban some Chinese-owned software over data security concerns, the U.S. has sanctioned a number of Chinese officials over Beijing’s imposition of a controversial national security law in Hong Kong, among other imbroglios.

Trump, who has repeatedly blamed China for spreading the COVID-19 virus, has recently vowed to economically “decouple” the U.S. from China should he be reelected president.

Nonetheless, U.S. companies in China said they will benefit from the huge nation’s growing middle class and massive manufacturing capacity.

"American companies still see China's consumer market as a great opportunity," said Ker Gibbs, president of the AmCham in Shanghai. "U.S. businesses in China would like to see the two countries resolve their outstanding issues quickly and reduce tensions. A workable cooperative framework for the next decade would be a good place to focus discussions."

As Trump Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize, Here Are Some of Its Worst Winners

Donald Trump has been nominated for the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize. The President of the United States was put forward by the far-right Norwegian member of parliament, Christian Tybring-Gjedde, who insists he is “not a big Trump supporter,” despite nominating him last year as well. Tybring-Gjedde’s stated reason for nominating Trump is for his work in the UAE-Israel deal signed last month, which normalizes relations between the two nations.

While there have been a number of people and organizations already nominated for the award, Trump is immediately considered among the favorites to win, his odds drastically shortening with bookmakers today.

The announcement was predictably applauded by supporters of the president, who voiced their approval online. Meanwhile, His detractors were unsurprisingly shocked and dismayed by the news. “Trump being nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by far-right anti-immigration nut job Christian Tybring-Gjedde is like getting a letter of recommendation to be a firefighter by a pyromaniac,” wrote Dr. Eugene Gu, one of the president’s most vocal online opponents.

The prize is often considered among the most esteemed awards any individual can win; a recognition of a supreme commitment to someone who has given “the greatest benefit to humankind,” in the organization’s own words. But while there have been some worthy winners in its 119-year history, the prize (and its ~$1 million cash reward) has very often been handed to some of the world’s most reprehensible individuals, including the following examples.

Burmese politician Aung San Suu Kyi received the award in 1991 “for her non-violent struggle for democracy and human rights.” For much of the time between 1989 and 2010, she was kept under house arrest by the ruling military junta. Time magazine labeled her a “child of Gandhi” for her supposed commitment to pacifism. Yet since her ascension to the office of state counselor (the Burmese version of prime minister), she has overseen the Burmese army’s genocide of Rohingya Muslims in her own country, defending and supporting the same military who used to keep her locked up. In 2017 she insisted that even ethnic cleansing was “too strong a word” to describe events, claiming that “it is Muslims killing Muslims,” but denying visas to United Nations officials who wished to investigate the atrocities. The violence is known to have killed at least 24,000 people and forced more than 730,000 Muslims to flee to neighboring Bangladesh.

A host of Israeli leaders, including Menachem Begin, Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres, have also won the prize for their supposed efforts in bringing peace to the Middle East, even though Israel has militarily occupied much of Palestine and parts of Syria for decades, continually breaking ceasefires to attack its neighbors. In 1996, for instance, Peres ordered Operation Grapes of Wrath, the most notorious chapter of which was the Qana massacre, where 106 Lebanese civilians were killed. Peres appeared proud of his actions; “Everything was done according to clear logic and in a responsible way,” he said. Meanwhile, in 1967, troops under Rabin’s command are thought to have killed around 1,000 Egyptian prisoners of war en masse.

Oregon governor says towns have been ‘substantially DESTROYED’ by huge wildfires, loss of life expected

First responders are battling more than 35 fires burning across more than 300,000 acres of land in Oregon, forcing thousands to evacuate their homes — and the governor is warning the worst could be yet to come.

“Over the last 24 hours, Oregon has experienced unprecedented fires, with devastating consequences across the state. Our number-one priority right now is saving lives. This could be the greatest loss of human lives and property due to wildfires in our state’s history,” Governor Kate Brown said, addressing the emergency.

Firefighters, National Guard soldiers, and Red Cross volunteers are working “around the clock” to battle the blazes, and Brown is warning areas not battling fires to be “on high alert” and the current blazes are creating “the worst fire condition risks in 30 years.”

So far, no fatalities have been confirmed, but hundreds of homes have been lost.

Brown confirmed the towns of “Detroit in central Oregon, Blue River and Vida in Lane County, and Phoenix and Talent in Southern Oregon” have been “substantially destroyed.”

Fires have been raging in the Pacific Northwest for days. Washington and California have been dealing with their own wildfires, one of which was sparked by a firework used at a ‘gender reveal’ party.

Protecting U.S. Bulk-Power System & Technology from Bad Actors: Part 2

On May 1, 2020, President Trump signed executive order “Securing the United States Bulk-Power System,” which was one of the most important executive orders to date, yet it was a blip on most people’s radar. In fact, there have been a string of key executive orders and bills put in place regarding the power supply and technology sectors to protect the U.S. from potential harm. While all eyes have been on 5G and Huawei, few seem to be paying attention to the bigger picture – electricity, solar, “climate change” agendas, manufactured parts, foreign interference and outsourcing – essentially, our entire powered infrastructure.

Part 1 of this report breaks down the timeline of key executive orders, bills, actions, and events that are critical to protecting the U.S., and reflects all the way back to 2012, showing where President Trump’s thought process was at long before he became president. Kim also has long-standing relationships with Dr. Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx, as they have all been involved in the HIV/AIDS agenda, going back decades. In fact, they even produced a movie titled ‘Bending The Arc’ which tells the story of Partners in Health changing global health, and had both Fauci and Birx at the screening and as panelists, in 2018. The panel discussion entailed talks about how they would “bolster leadership and investment to conquer pressing global threats like famine, refugee crises, and pandemic disease.”

During Kim’s time at the World Bank, they financially supported three urban transport projects in the Wuhan China metropolitan region, with $120 million funded in February 2016 alone. Well before Kim’s time at the World Bank, in 1999 the IFC had invested $11.5 million for China Infrastructure’s Wuhan International Container Transshipment project.

In 2012, Kim’s predecessor Robert Zoellick, who now serves on the board of directors for Twitter, (I know, it’s difficult to keep up with all of these shenanigans), had worked diligently on the ‘China 2030’ report on ‘Building a Modern, Harmonious, and Creative Society’ by the World Bank and the Development Research Center of the State Council, Beijing’s cabinet, which is a 470-page blueprint for China’s transition from an export-driven economy to a consumer-led one.

In February 2015, Gates funded the IFC nearly $10 million to digitize the health payment system in Bihar in east India and Uttar Pradesh in northern India.

In 2016 and 2017 funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation totally stopped to the IFC, despite having funded them year after year consecutively during Cai’s time as CEO. Then, in 2018 there was one final grant to the IFC in the amount of $5 million to strengthen India’s smallholder farmers.

Jin-Yong Cai Submitted his Resignation in 2015 After Coming Under Fire

In 2013, The World Bank made $1.65 billion in loan commitments in China, and its private sector arm, the International Finance Corp (IFC) committed $1.64 billion, both while Jim Yong Kim and Jin-Yong Cai were in charge.

In November 2015, Jin-Yong Cai and Bertrand Badré, two of Jim Yong Kim’s top aides, both submitted their resignations after coming under fire earlier that year for an unusual $1 billion loan from China. As reported by The Epoch Times, Badré and Cai worked on the loan from China that allowed China to increase its lending through the International Development Association (IDA). The Financial Times reported that there was unease among shareholders due to Cai’s aggressive investments, particularly to Chinese companies. As of 2015, the IFC had invested more than $10 billion in over 300 projects with China since 1985.

Just two weeks after the investigation probe began into the $1 billion loan, it was quickly dismissed by Locke Lord Edwards law firm, finding no wrongdoing. Despite the Bank’s treasurer Madelyn Antoncic first raising questions about the handling of the loan in December 2013, Jim Yong Kim did not initiate the review until February 2015.

Cai went on to become partner of Texas Pacific Group (TPG) Capital, based in Hong Kong, and three years later left to become a partner at Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), headquartered in New York – just three months after Jim Yong Kim became a partner at GIP.

Cai’s history with Wu Shangzhi, former senior investment officer at the World Bank Group’s IFC, dates back to 1995, and likely long before. Together, they played instrumental roles in the founding of China International Capital Corporation (CICC), the first ever investment banking venture in China. More on this below.

An infrastructure investment fund founded in 2006, GIP is headquartered in New York City, with a focus on infrastructure assets in the energy, transportation, ports, and water/waste sectors. It operates as a partnership consisting of 22 partners, with five being founding partners. They are currently one of the largest clean energy companies in the United States due to acquisitions.

When Jim Yong Kim resigned from the World Bank in 2019, three years before his term was up, he went on to become a partner. Likewise, just three months later, his former aide and head of the World Bank’s Arm International Finance Corporation Jin-Yong Cai also became a partner at GIP after a 2-year stint at Texas Pacific Group (TPG) Capital, who has also partnered with CDH.

Obama Administration’s DOE Contracted with GIP

2011 marked a big year for the Obama administration dumping billions in loans into the “clean energy” sector. Three of those were designated to projects owned by Global Infrastructure Partners. These took place just months before Jim Yong Kim was appointed to World Bank President.

August 2011 – Agua Caliente project in Yuma County, AZ – $967 million

September 2011 – California Valley Solar Ranch project – $1.2 billion

September 2011 – Desert Sunlight project in Riverside County, CA – $1.5

A lot was happening in 2011 and 2012 around Obama’s big “solar project” government loan guarantees. President Trump’s Department of Energy just recently recovered $200 million in taxpayer funds from a 2011 $737 million loan by the Obama administration to Tonopah Solar Energy to finance the $1.1 billion Crescent Dunes Solar Energy Project in Nevada that was deemed obsolete before it went online. These funds were distributed just three weeks after Solyndra received $535 million from the Obama administration, just prior to filing for bankruptcy.

In 2012, the heat was turned up again, when Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), subcommittee chairman of the Committee on Government Oversight and Reform, summoned executives of solar and geothermal companies that received stimulus money, and alleged that BrightSource won its loan guarantee based on its close relationship with the DOE and Obama administration. There were emails of concern, and the former chairman of BrightSource, John Bryson, had become Obama’s Secretary of Commerce. There were also concerns over First Solar’s chairman Michael Ahearn selling $450 million in shares over a three-day period.

Coincidentally, VP of Development Patrick Sullivan, joined Clearway Energy, owned by Global Infrastructure Partners, in 2013, after working as the Senior Director of Business Development for BrightSource Energy.

Investigate the investigators? Netanyahu seeks ‘independent inquiry’ into own corruption probe over alleged conflicts of interest

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has called for a probe into those investigating him for corruption, insisting authorities were “distorting justice” to force him out of office following reports of major police misconduct.

The PM demanded a new “independent inquiry” during a Likud Party meeting on Wednesday night, addressing a report from Israel’s Channel 12 earlier this week alleging that police covered up a glaring conflict of interest for a top investigator in Netanyahu’s corruption case.

“Obviously there are political decisions being made here by senior law enforcement officials who are distorting justice and the law in order to overthrow a right-wing prime minister,” he said. “This conduct must be investigated. But who will investigate? The police chief who protects the investigator? The state prosecutor who protects the police chief? Perhaps the attorney general?”

I estimate with caution that the attorney general will not check into this. There’s no alternative but an independent inquiry.

The Channel 12 report, published Monday, claimed that senior law enforcement officials had recently filed a complaint with the state comptroller over a wide-spread police cover-up, alleging corruption investigator Avi Rotenberg was in an extramarital affair with Judy Nir-Mozes, the sister of newspaper publisher Arnon Mozes. The publisher has been charged alongside Netanyahu for an illegal quid-pro-quo deal, creating a possible conflict of interest, which other police officials reportedly ignored.

Israeli Filmmakers Put AIPAC and U.S. Evangelicals Under the Spotlight – and Are Alarmed at What They Find

Two new documentaries, 'Kings of Capitol Hill' and 'Til Kingdom Come,' offer a fascinating snapshot of the past, present and future of pro-Israel lobby groups in Washington

Ada Horwich was once a proud member and supporter of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. She served as chair of AIPAC’s Southern California chapter and was also a member of the pro-Israel lobby’s national board from 2000-2016. In a new documentary, however, she explains why she decided to leave the organization: “I think we’re on the road to Israel being called an apartheid state. AIPAC won’t go there. They won’t discuss it. And that became more and more important to me.”

The interview with Horwich is one of several attention-grabbing moments in “Kings of Capitol Hill,” a new documentary by Israeli director Mor Loushy tracking the rise, and potential fall, of AIPAC’s influence in Washington. Loushy’s film just premiered at Docaviv, Tel Aviv’s international documentary festival, which became an online event this year due to COVID-19.

A second Israeli film that also just debuted there is “’Til Kingdom Come,” by Emmy Award-winning director Maya Zinshtein. Her film focuses on the growing influence of a very different pro-Israel lobby in America today: evangelicals.

Together, the two films tell a big story about the past, present and future of American attitudes toward Israel. As one lobby group, which cherishes bipartisanship and is mostly reliant on the Jewish community, is slowly losing influence, another hyperpartisan group, tied tightly to the Republican Party and the Trump presidency, is growing stronger and stronger.

Australians have really settled into the new order and are getting ready to sell their homes to Chinese investors. This is how it's done! Essentially, totalitarianism has finally been imposed and joyously accepted. As their economies die, the culling from lack of medication will be blamed on a cartoon virus. The brave, bronzed Aussie has long been a tasteless joke.

On any objective assessment, there are too many "useless eaters", many of whom are sick or 'scrapings from the bottom of the gene pool'. Global human population is out of control. Let the games begin! The elderly and chronically sick - in that order.

Medications will run out. That's not insider information, that's just obvious, given the state of supply-lines in just about everything - internationally. Catastrophe comes close.
