I'll give you my favorite lesson from B5. from a character named G'kar, it was lesson in USING IDOLS to assuage guilt, bad behavior & "backsliding". The point was that it's easy to throw your guilt at satan or a statue, rather than accepting responsibility for ones own actions. Another is about how governments & media change definitions to suit their own ends, but honestly the list goes on & on.
