to me that means:
the tarmac meeting consisted of this deal for LL to remain AG then Ginsburg retires and LL is appointed to SCOTUS
and ALSO the tarmac meeting consisted of the other part of 'The PLAN' which is knocking off Scalia to get Merrick Garland on the court
They film "60 Minutes" more than a day in advance, don't they?

the hit on scalia was separate from the LL deal w/ RBG
paraphrasing here but he said
"scalia replacement pick by hillary"
meaning that the Congress had merrick garland in a holding pattern no matter what until the election
and then he wrote
"RBG steps down; LL steps up"
Merrick Garland ultimately would have been confirmed
OR
Hillary would have had Garland withdraw and she'd have had someone else picked out for the seat at an earlier time
