Feb 5, 2010,

Why The WHO Faked A Pandemic

The World Health Organization has suddenly gone from crying "The sky is falling!" like a cackling Chicken Little to squealing like a stuck pig. The reason: charges that the agency deliberately fomented swine flu hysteria. "The world is going through a real pandemic. The description of it as a fake is wrong and irresponsible," the agency claims on its Web site. A WHO spokesman declined to specify who or what gave this "description," but the primary accuser is hard to ignore.

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), a human rights watchdog, is publicly investigating the WHO's motives in declaring a pandemic. Indeed, the chairman of its influential health committee, epidemiologist Wolfgang Wodarg, has declared that the "false pandemic" is "one of the greatest medicine scandals of the century."

Even within the agency, the director of the WHO Collaborating Center for Epidemiology in Munster, Germany, Dr. Ulrich Kiel, has essentially labeled the pandemic a hoax. "We are witnessing a gigantic misallocation of resources [$18 billion so far] in terms of public health," he said.

They're right. This wasn't merely overcautiousness or simple misjudgment. The pandemic declaration and all the Klaxon-ringing since reflect sheer dishonesty motivated not by medical concerns but political ones.

Unquestionably, swine flu has proved to be vastly milder than ordinary seasonal flu. It kills at a third to a tenth the rate, according to U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates. Data from other countries like France and Japan indicate it's far tamer than that.

Indeed, judging by what we've seen in New Zealand and Australia (where the epidemics have ended), and by what we're seeing elsewhere in the world, we'll have considerably fewer flu deaths this season than normal. That's because swine flu muscles aside seasonal flu, acting as a sort of inoculation against the far deadlier strain.

Did the WHO have any indicators of this mildness when it declared the pandemic in June?

Absolutely, as I wrote at the time. We were then fully 11 weeks into the outbreak and swine flu had only killed 144 people worldwide–the same number who die of seasonal flu worldwide every few hours. (An estimated 250,000 to 500,000 per year by the WHO's own numbers.) The mildest pandemics of the 20th century killed at least a million people.

Australia says embassy officials did not obstruct Chinese investigation into journalists Bill Birtles and Mike Smith

Australia has rejected suggestions its diplomats obstructed Chinese legal investigations by sheltering two journalists in diplomatic compounds after state security officers demanded interviews with them.

Key points:

The two reporters were evacuated to Australia after being interviewed by Chinese authorities

Australia's Trade Minister says Australia's officials acted appropriately

A Chinese academic stripped of his Australian visa has accused Australia of intimidation tactics

The ABC's Bill Birtles and the Australian Financial Review's Mike Smith were bundled out of China earlier this week, with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade holding grave fears for their safety.

Officers from China's Ministry of State Security appeared at Birtles' apartment in Beijing and Smith's home in Shanghai, declaring they were banned from leaving the country and demanding they submit to questioning.

Despite Australian and Chinese officials coming to an agreement that saw the two give interviews in exchange for the travel bans being revoked, China's Foreign Ministry is now questioning the conduct of Australian diplomats.

Spokesman Zhao Lijian described the decision to allow Birtles and Smith to seek refuge in Australia's embassy in Beijing and consulate in Shanghai as "blatant obstruction and interference in China's normal law enforcement."

He said it went far beyond usual consular assistance offered to people who have potentially run foul of the law.

"The Australian embassy in China gave shelter to the relevant journalists [allowing them to] avoid China's investigation," he said.

Trade Minister Simon Birmingham rejected the accusations.

Nolte: Jake Tapper Meddled In an Election and Lied About It

Fox News has obtained proof CNNLOL’s Jake Tapper tried to talk House GOP candidate Sean Parnell from running against Rep. Conor Lamb (D) in Pennsylvania, which proves Jake Tapper is a liar.

Jake Tapper not only secretly attempted to meddle in an election to protect a Democrat incumbent, he then blatantly lied about what he did.

Bet CNNLOL gives him a big, fat raise for that.

Big, fat raise.

With a corner office.

Three days ago, Breitbart News broke this bombshell.

“CNN anchor Jake Tapper tried to convince Republican Sean Parnell to run in a different congressional district than in Pennsylvania’s 17th, where he is currently challenging Democrat Rep. Conor Lamb, sources familiar with Tapper’s actions told Breitbart News,” Matt Boyle reported Sunday.

Tapper denied the report. Who me? Nope, nope. I’m a newsman. I’m a news anchor. I don’t make news. I don’t shape news. I report news. I have a reputation to uphold. My integrity means something to me. My veins run black with printer’s ink. I am the Mighty Jake Tapper! I am the Thunder God of Truth!

Okay, all he said was “Nope,” but anyone at all familiar with this pompous clown knows my internal monologue can’t be too far from the truth.

He told former Acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell the “Nope.”

“I just asked Jake Tapper ‘Is it true you asked Sean Parnell to not run against Conor Lamb?’ He told me ‘nope’. So there is his answer.”

“Nope,” the Thunder God of Truth said.

Update.

I just asked @jaketapper “Is it true you asked Sean Parnell to not run against Conor Lamb?”

He told me “nope”.

So there is his answer. https://t.co/Nh8LdVKmrD

— Richard Grenell (@RichardGrenell) September 6, 2020

Well, that was a lie.

Because Tapper did ask Parnell not to run against Lamb. Here’s the proof, courtesy of Fox News:

This is a DM Tapper sent Parnell pic.twitter.com/SPA8YndGwu

— Brian Flood (@briansflood) September 10, 2020

So Jake Tapper meddles in elections and lies.

But you already knew that.

Jake Tapper lies, like a lot.

Jake Tapper allows Democrats to lie.

Jake Tapper is a liar.

And there will be no consequences, because meddling in elections and lying is a big part of the job description at CNNLOL.

They say no one can take away your integrity. You can only give it away.

That may be true, but no one ever mentions the corner office.

Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler Orders Police to Stop Using Tear Gas

Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler (D) on Thursday ordered the Portland Police Bureau to cease using a form of tear gas as riots continue to plague the Democrat-run city.

The Oregonian reports:

The declaration that officers will no longer unleash CS gas comes after 105 straight days of protests that have seen city and federal officers deploy tear gas on participants. Over that time, people have also repeatedly been subjected to gas by Portland police in their cars or homes while not participating in the demonstrations. […]

Public records show Portland police have spent tens of thousands of dollars on less-lethal munitions and tear gas canisters in response to nightly protests.

“During the last hundred days Portland, Multnomah County and state police have all relied on CS gas where there is a threat to life safety,” Wheeler, who also serves as Portland’s police chief, said in a video statement. “We need something different. We need it now.”

Below is Wheeler’s full statement:

In a statement to The Oregonian, Oregon State Police Captain Timothy Fox said: “The OSP will be forced to assess our involvement in assisting the city of Portland.”

“We will not for force our troopers into this untenable situation and limit their ability to defend themselves and others,” he added.

Oregon State Police slammed the move by Wheeler as “reckless and short sighted.”

Wheeler was previously teargassed as he met with protesters back in July.

President Donald Trump and Chad Wolf, Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, have repeatedly warned Wheeler that the administration could re-send federal resources into Portland to quell violent unrest.

“Let me be clear: Those who seek to undermine our democratic institutions, indiscriminately destroy our businesses and attack our law enforcement officers and fellow citizens are a threat to the homeland,” Wolf said this week. “The department has experienced this firsthand in Portland, Oregon, where violent opportunists repeatedly targeted and attempt to burn down a federal courthouse, the seat of justice in downtown Portland.”

Wheeler’s ban comes after law enforcement arrested 11 rioters in connection to another violent demonstration in Portland Tuesday evening.

New York Times' 1619 Project author says Founding Fathers 'did not believe in democracy,' America is 'not an exceptional nation'

1619 Project author Nikole Hannah-Jones said that America is not an exceptional country and that its founders "did not believe in democracy."

The statement comes amid criticism that the project teaches a false history of America.

Mount Holyoke College hosted in September its Common Read Keynote with Pulitzer-winning New York Times journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones to talk about The 1619 Project, which was chosen to be this year’s common read.

During the keynote, Vice President for Equity and Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer Kijua Sanders-McMurtry interviewed Hannah-Jones.

"I don’t think we’re an exceptional nation. I think that’s ludicrous for any nation to make that claim, and we certainly cannot make that claim."

“I think the 1619 Project should honestly be at every college, university, corporation, and school foundationally if these institutions are truly interested in being anti-racist,” Sanders-McMurtry said. “I think there is this idea out here right now that this is anti-American, and that this is seeking to reframe a narrative that doesn’t need to be reframed, and I think you’ve done a beautiful job saying that this does need to be reframed and here’s why."

Barack Obama's Latest Reason to Vote for Joe Biden Is Actually a Reason to Vote Trump

Barack Obama, the Left’s erstwhile patron saint, appears to have taken his deputy Rahm Emanuel’s advice to heart: “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” On Wednesday, Obama rushed to blame climate change for the wildfires ravaging the West Coast, insisting that Californians’ “lives” depend on Joe Biden beating Donald Trump in November. As usual, Obama has the entire situation backward: Climate change isn’t the culprit behind the infernos, poor forest management is — and the climate regulations Obama champions have prevented the controlled burns necessary for keeping the fires in check.

“The fires across the West Coast are just the latest examples of the very real ways our changing climate is changing our communities. Protecting our planet is on the ballot. Vote like your life depends on it—because it does,” Obama tweeted with photos of smoke altering the skyline of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Even if man-made climate change from burning fossil fuels is exacerbating the situation, fires in California are not exactly a new phenomenon. The conflagrations of recent years aren’t evidence of climate change but a result of poor forest management.

It seems easy to blame a gender reveal party or some other incident for creating the spark that grows into a wildfire, but even when excited new parents aren’t setting off pyrotechnic devices, dry and mismanaged forests can still go up in flames at the slightest provocation — lightning strikes cause many forest fires.

I grew up in the foothills of dry Colorado, where the grass is not green but brown. My father, a volunteer wildland firefighter, sent my brother and me out to rake up dry leaves, pine trees, and other materials we termed “duff” — matter from the forest floor that would go up in flames upon contact with the smallest spark. My father — and later my brother and I — would go out with a chainsaw to trim the lower-hanging pine branches and a weed-whacker to take care of the tall grasses.

Federal Judges Block President Trump’s Effort to Exclude Illegal Aliens From Census Count For the Purpose of Congressional Representation

A panel of three federal judges on Thursday blocked President Trump’s latest effort to exclude illegal aliens from the census count.

President Trump in July signed an executive order banning illegal aliens from 2020 Census count for the purpose of Congressional representation.

Crooked New York Attorney General Letitia James lead a coalition of states, cities and counties and sued to challenge Trump’s executive memorandum.

The unanimous three-judge panel for the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said in its 86- page opinion that Trump’s memorandum violates the executive branch’s “constitutional responsibility to count the whole number of persons in each State and to apportion members of the House of Representatives among the States according to their respective numbers.”

“Directing the secretary to provide two sets of numbers, one derived from the decennial census and one not, and announcing that it is the policy of the United States to use the latter in connection with apportionment, the Presidential Memorandum deviates from, and thus violates, the statutory scheme,” the unsigned ruling states.

“Second, the presidential memorandum violates the statute governing apportionment because, so long as they reside in the United States, illegal aliens qualify as ‘persons in’ a ‘state’ as Congress used those words,” U.S. District Judges Richard Wesley (George W. Bush appointee), Peter Hall (George W. Bush appointee) and Jesse Furman (Obama appointee) added.

Last year the Supreme Court blocked the Trump Administration’s move to add a citizenship question to the 2020 census.

Chief Justice Roberts sided with liberals — shocker!

The census is taken every 10 years and is used to allot seats to the US House of Representatives in addition to distributing almost $1 trillion in federal funds.

This is why the Democrat-media apparatus is fighting to include illegal aliens in the census count.

Neighbor of Jessica Krug — white Jewish prof who pretended to be black — says she called her 'white trash,' made threats, tried starting fights

'She's been throwing air punches at me when we meet in the hallway'

A neighbor of Jessica Krug — the now-former George Washington University professor who is white but pretended to be black most of her life — told the New York Daily News she's had her share of problems with Krug, who allegedly called her "white trash," made threats, and even tried starting fights.

The paper said documentary filmmaker Anna Anderson, 39, first crossed paths with Krug in their East Harlem building in 2018.

"I used to have a Blue Apron subscription, which is a mail delivery subscription, and one day my food delivery didn't show up," Anderson recalled to the Daily News. "So I asked my landlord if he could check the cameras, and he said, 'Do you have any beef with Jessica?' and I'm like, 'I don't know who Jessica is,' and he said, 'She stole your package and threw it in the garbage.'"

Anderson told the paper that when Krug "did it a second time I got really pissed off." Then Anderson said she contacted police about the missing mail and spoke by phone to a judge — but the Daily News said the NYPD wasn't immediately able to verify the accusation.

She also told the paper that Krug would lock her bike so Anderson's bike would be locked, too.

"I told her to unlock her bike from my bike, and she said, 'What are you going to do? Call the cops? You know what cops do to people like me,'" Anderson recalled to the Daily News.

And the hits just kept on coming, apparently.

"I used to go out running, she would pass me when I'm running and say, 'Gentrifying,'" Anderson told the paper. "She called me 'white trash.'"

Anderson added to the Daily News that the "white trash" insult actually was funny since "I'm a white immigrant from Sweden."

'Are you gonna call the cops on me?'

Things allegedly came close to getting physical at times.

"She's a tiny person, but she's got a very big attitude, and she kinda tried to come at me, threatened to stomp on my dog and provoke me to beat her up," Anderson told the paper. "She's like, 'Are you gonna hit me, are you gonna hit me? Are you gonna call the cops on me?'"

Not that it rattled Anderson, who stands 5-feet, 9-inches tall, the Daily News said.

"She's been throwing air punches at me when we meet in the hallway," she added to the paper, which noted the women live three floors apart in their building.

Despite it all Anderson — referencing Krug's viral post on Medium in which she told the world she had been lying about her ethnicity — told the Daily News, "I just hope she gets the help she needs."

Krug didn't immediately respond to a request for comment for this story.

Four Houston police officers fired for fatal shooting of mentally ill man who reached for one of their stun guns

The union says it was a 'suicide by cop' situation

Four Houston Police Department officers were fired this week over the fatal shooting of a man apparently experiencing a mental illness episode in April, ABC News reported.

The identities of the officers have not been revealed, but the police union condemned the firings and said the officers had no choice but to use deadly force when they shot and killed Nicolas Chavez.

"What happened to Nicolas Chavez was a tragedy," Houston Police Officers Union president Joe Gamaldi said. "(He was) a man who was clearly struggling from mental illness or a possible overdose and as a result forced our officers into a suicide-by-cop scenario. … They used every non-lethal option available … all while giving verbal commands to Mr. Chavez to give up peacefully. They begged and pleaded with Mr. Chavez to give up for the entire 15 minutes and to no avail. As Mr. Chavez stated several times, he wanted the officers to shoot and kill him."

What happened?

On April 21, police responded to a call about a possibly suicidal man running in traffic and threatening bystanders.

According to Gamaldi, the officers confronted Chavez and attempted to verbally convince him to surrender. Police said they also used stun guns and bean bag rounds, but Chavez would not stand down.

Police say Chavez was holding a piece of metal, and he got his hands on a stun gun that one of the officers dropped and pointed it at them.

Body camera footage of the shooting was played during a Thursday news conference and viewed by the Houston Chronicle. Chavez appeared to be on his knees when he was shot while reaching for a used stun gun, which three of the officers allegedly did not know had been used already.

Officers fired a total of 24 rounds at Chavez, said Police Chief Art Acevedo.

"You will hear these officers pleading with (Chavez), 'Please don't do this. Please don't do it,'" HPOU executive director Ray Hunt said, according to KPRC-TV. "You will also hear the sergeant, after he shoots (Chavez), use profanity because he is so upset that he had to finally do this … This is an outrage for these four officers, but you know what, they're just a number."

An independent review board determined that the shooting was justified and that the officers didn't need to be disciplined, but Acevedo opted to fire them anyway.

Trump says US to reduce troops to 4,000 in Afghanistan and 2,000 in Iraq as peace talks progress

Saying that “a lot of progress is being made” in the Middle East, US President Donald Trump told reporters there will soon be only 4,000 US troops in Afghanistan and 2,000 in Iraq, with only a few in Syria to “guard the oil.”

The reductions will happen “very soon,” Trump said. While the Pentagon confirmed the pending withdrawal of some troops earlier this week, this is the first time the US president had mentioned specific numbers.

The numbers did not necessarily correspond with those provided by US Central Command chief General Kenneth McKenzie on Wednesday, however, as CNN was quick to point out. McKenzie said the number would be reduced to 3,000 by the end of September.

Though the US invaded and occupied Iraq in 2003, those forces withdrew by the end of 2011. The current troop presence dates back to 2014, when President Barack Obama sent advisers and some combat elements to help the government in Baghdad after its US-trained forces collapsed before the onslaught of Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) militants. All territory claimed by IS in Iraq was liberated during Trump’s presidency, for which he has not been shy to take credit.

While he did not directly link US presence in Iraq to the ongoing confrontation with neighboring Iran, Trump did mention he was confident that Tehran would come to the negotiating table after his re-election in November, as their economy was getting devastated by US sanctions.

Ivanka Trump claims she'll take Covid-19 vaccine live on ‘The View’, says Americans should all ‘trust’ the FDA

After Joy Behar, co-host of US talk show ‘The View’, announced she has no intention of taking a Covid-19 vaccine before Ivanka Trump does, the president's eldest daughter promptly offered to take it live on air.

Criticizing Donald Trump for claiming a vaccine could be ready in the US very soon, Behar said he is simply trying to get “reelected.”

“He will push anything to get reelected. Don’t fall for it,” she said on Wednesday. “And by the way, I will take the vaccine after Ivanka takes it.”

Ivanka Trump responded directly to the challenge on Thursday, tweeting, “Deal @JoyVBehar. I would come on your show to do so.” She added that she “trusts” the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and “so should all Americans.”

While most reactions to Trump’s offer have been slams against her and her father, she was offered some support by her brother, Donald Trump Jr, among others.

“Call me, I’ll help you prep for the interview @IvankaTrump…Joy, Whoopi and the rest of The View ladies love me,” he tweeted, referring to his fiery appearance on the show last year which devolved into shouting matches.
