Former state prosecutor accuses Netanyahu of blood libel

Former state prosecutor Shai Nitzan on Thursday rejected charges from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the legal establishment has united to topple him.

Nitzan made his remarks in interviews with three television networks.

Netanyahu has repeatedly made such allegations, singling out Nitzan, former police chief Roni Alsheikh, Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit and deputy state prosecutors Shlomo Lemberger and Liat Ben-Ari.

It was unbelievable to accuse Mandelblit, Alsheikh and Lemberger of being leftists trying to bring down the Right, because they are religiously observant, Nitzan said.

“He says our investigations of him were not real, and there is a conspiracy to topple him,” he told KAN TV. “These allegations are so ridiculous. They are a blood libel.”

Nitzan denied that he was part of any cover-up of wrongdoing by police investigators in Netanyahu’s cases. An email of Nitzan in which he wrote about not probing an alleged conflict of interest in the police due to “people who want to harm the law-enforcement system” was not referring to Netanyahu.

The report said former police investigator Avi Rutenberg, who was in a romantic relationship with Yediot Aharonot co-owner Judy Nir-Mozes, was involved in Netanyahu’s Case 2000, the Yediot Aharonot-Israel Hayom Affair.

Rutenberg was not significantly involved in that case, and he should not have been allowed to question Netanyahu’s wife, Sara, in her cases due to a conflict of interest, Nitzan said. But he rejected Netanyahu’s request for an independent probe of what happened with Rutenberg.

In response, the Likud said Nitzan had corrupted the law-enforcement system and that he was panicking, because if he was probed, he would be found guilty.

Schiff’s Obsession With President Trump Is Dangerous To U.S. National Security

It’s another witch hunt and Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Adam Schiff doesn’t mind wasting millions of taxpayer dollars on it like he has over the past four years.

The important aspect of this whole upside down scenario is that Schiff doesn’t really care about the national security issues that could potentially pose a significant danger to the United States or its citizens. He cares about one thing and one thing only: President Donald Trump.

Schiff – and those like him – are obsessed with Trump. In a way, he reminds me of the fictional character Captain Ahab in Herman Melville‘s Moby-Dick, written in 1851. Schiff is the captain of the committee, not the whaling ship. But just as importantly, Schiff is on a voyage to destroy President Trump, much like Ahab was obsessed over Moby Dick.

Schiff like Ahab is willing to lose almost anything to get Trump and in the end he just might allow the political whale to drag him to the depths of Washington D.C.’s swamp.

It is a tale often told in many novels and Schiff just happens to be that character. That Character. But we shouldn’t let him drag American taxpayer dollars and security down with him. Schiff has repeatedly lied about Trump and lied to the American people about the so-called evidence he had regarding the now-debunked Russia conspiracy.

Schiff, however, has never been held accountable for the numerous hoaxes he has perpetrated from the committee charged with oversight of our nation’s secrets, covert agencies and the overall security of the country from enemy states. Those enemy states include China, Russia, among many other nations that are using the chaos and divisions in our nation to their benefit.

I remember this May, when the House released 57 transcripts of interviews with former senior Obama officials and FBI regarding Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election and the bureau’s investigation into Trump?

Lawmakers began the probe into the FBI’s handling of the investigation into the Trump campaign in January 2017. At the time, the House Committee on Intelligence was Chaired by Rep. Devin Nunes, and he worked diligently with investigators to uncover massive amounts of evidence that revealed malfeasance in the FBI, led to the firing of senior bureau officials and then was reinforced by investigations conducted by the DOJ’s Inspector General Michael Horowitz. Horowitz was not a Trump appointee but was appointed under President Obama.

Throughout all those years and despite numerous findings showing there was no collusion between Trump and Russia, including a final March, 2018 report, it didn’t matter.

Schiff continued to promise the American people that he had evidence proving the opposite.

In 2019, even after investigations cleared Trump, Schiff continued to lie to the American people. He said on ABC News at the time that there was evidence Trump conspired with Russia, saying there was “ample evidence of collusion in plain sight.”

In Latest Setback For Disney, China Censors Coverage Of "Mulan" Over Xinjiang Ties

After angering all of America's progressives, Disney's "Mulan" has just achieved an even higher bar of censorship/acclaim: being banned - or at least censored - the PROC.

China's professional propagandists have given the old "tap on the shoulder" to the country's major media outlets and instructed them not to cover the release of "Mulan", the Disney live-action remake of the classic children's animated feature that's drawn criticism for being culturally insensitive/an ill-conceived remake of a childhood classic/its links to "modern slavery" in Xinjiang/and now the CCP's fears about coverage of said "slavery" controversy undermining the official narrative regarding China's extensive network of internment camps said to have housed more than 1 million Muslim Uighers, according to Reuters.

That, of course, is a huger problem for Disney, which had bet on the big-budget remake to be a sure-fire hit in the world's second-largest economy.

The movie is starring several big name Chinese-born actors, including Jet Li, Gong Li, Donnie Yen and Liu Yifei, the movie is based on a Chinese folk story. It was tailored to appeal to audiences in China.

The Chinese press silence order is just the latest threat to the movie's bottom line, which was already so badly threatened by COVID-19's impact on the movie theater business. Several sources confirmed the order to Reuters.

Three sources told Reuters media outlets had received the notice, two of whom said it was sent by the Cyberspace Administration of China. A fourth source at a major Chinese newspaper said he received a text message with a similar order from a senior colleague.

"Mulan's" original sin, in the eyes of both American leftists and now the Communist Party was being shot in Xinjiang. Partly shot in Xinjiang, Mulan’s credits, included thanks to the authorities there, which prompted calls overseas for a boycott of the movie. China’s clampdown on ethnic Uighurs and other Muslims in Xinjiang has been criticised by some governments.

In another ironic twist, and an example of how fast the anarrative can shift, , the Global Times, a tabloid run by the ruling Communist Party’s People’s Daily, criticised the backlash against the movie and the "extreme ideologies" on the American left.

Zarif to Trump: No such thing as good war, bad war

Iran’s foreign minister faults US President Donald Trump’s apparent differentiation between favorable and unfavorable warfare, denouncing all instances of aggressive military intervention and Washington’s warring and warmongering in the Middle East region.

Mohammad Javad Zarif’s remarks came in a Thursday tweet posted in reaction to an earlier press conference at the White House.

During the presser, Trump bashed his election rival Joe Biden over sending US “youth to fight in these crazy endless wars” in the Middle East in his capacity as former US president Barack Obama’s vice president. Trump also lashed out at the Pentagon’s top brass for seeking wars to enrich “those wonderful [weapon-making] companies.”

“We get it. He (Trump) thinks cold war is good for business while hot war is not,” Zarif derisively said, adding, “War is bad, period.”

The top Iranian diplomat also pointed out the contradiction between Trump’s acknowledging “the US thirst for war to fill the coffers of ‘those wonderful companies” and the US president’s “flogging their ‘beautiful military equipment’ to our region.”

Trump and Biden are respectively the Republican and Democratic nominees for the US presidential elections that is slated to take place in November.

The current American chief executive has been harping on about seeking to end around two decades of US military intervention in the Middle East and Central Asia. His tenure has, however, seen him blowing hot and cold on the promise as well as clinching huge new weapons deals between Washington and its regional allies.
