Has POTUS or Republicans ever endorsed a Libertarian running for office?

In Indiana, we have a R Governor who is mandating masks and won't fully open the state, probably sucking the dick of the Dem Mayor of Indianapolis. Def sucking China's dick.

New polling came out and turns out he is banking on Biden voters! 16% of Biden voters say they'll vote Holcomb! No wonder he is promoting mandatory masks, contact tracing, closing schools/hybrid schedules, contact tracing. It's fucking bullshit.

Our libertarian candidate is gaining and stands for everything we want. An endorsement would help, not sure how to give him the bump he needs to win.
