we chose to send my nephew (1st grade) to Elachee Nature center… for 'school' this year, because the public schools were playing covid games.
we drop him off in the meadows, where all the kids meet up ato play the first 2 hours of the day…
they then start class, by exploring the trails everyday, doing math with rocks, writing about 'what they see' etc…
He knows how to identify every type of web, and he's only been there a couple weeks.
