It's all one big fucking psychological experiment.

In normal, ethical psychological experiments, the psychologists are limited in the number of people they can study, they can't inflict real harm on the subjects, and the studies can be inaccurate, given that the subjects know that their minds are going to be fucked with in some way, and it won't harm them.

But now, the shrinks will be studying this world-wide experiment for decades, involving billions of people who suffer huge losses, anxiety attacks, paranoia, and every consequence of a fake disaster.
