Wasting no time advancing the agenda in the desperate hope that they'll come out on top, seems like. Or possibly trying to morally normalize their crimes as much as possible before they come to light.

I've always thought that the best thing to do was to bypass people's preconceptions and conditioned, knee-jerk responses to certain subjects, ideas, etc. (essentially, anything that triggers the idea of "conspiracy theory") by explaining things in a hypothetical way and without real-world specifics. That way, it's kind of like slipping in "under the radar" of their conditioning. Once the new conceptual frameworks are in place, slowly introduce the real-world specifics to incrementally rebuild their world view based on the truth.
