Highland, Ca - some asshole tried to burn his house down in the middle of a neighborhood on Wednesday, while the El Dorado fires look like a volcano going off in the background and we've been breathing smoke and ash for days. Supposedly, the guy has been going through a messy divorce. He's been arrested already. But he set it during a Santa Ana wind, apparently cut a gas line and then tossed something in there. Could have taken out the whole neighborhood if a few more things had gone wrong.

Maybe his motive is just what it seems, but considering everything else going on, you have to wonder.
