At the very least, Joseph Smith lacked discernment. He was visited by “an angel of light” supposedly (Moroni) means light. And yet he didn’t recognize the warning the Bible gives about Satan appearing as such. Jospeh Smith created a false religion based on his deception. Look at how many people that have been deceived because he lacked discernment. It’s sad. Very, very sad. As Q says…..be careful who you follow.
I have had the same thoughts. Jared Kushner is behind this. We should not be brokering peace for Israel. If you know anything about Biblical prophecy, you know where this leads and it’s not good. I guess in the end it is IF you know who God is and you are born again. But if not, many will be lost forever because they accept the Antichrist as the messiah.
Joseph Smith was deceived. Mormonism is NOT Biblical. I have studied it extensively (never been a part of the church though) because so many in my area are blinded by it. Friends that I care about refuse to see the truth. Mormons put their faith in their leaders not Jesus. And any group who believes Jesus and Satan were brothers are among the deceived. Also…..believing that you can be baptized for the dead???? That’s just gross. And blasphemous. I could go on and on.
Mormons won’t listen to any other point of view. Trust me…..I’ve tried. There is a great video on YouTube of a guy who was raised in the Mormon Church and while on his mission, he tried to convert a Baptist (I think the fella was a pastor) and the Mormon ended up seeing the truth and not only did he leave Mormonism but he lead his whole family to Jesus Christ. They all left the LDS church. It is a very compelling story to say the least. His name is Michah Wilder.
