I think this quote from that piece is probably a lie. It might seem really obvious to say that, but if social media platforms were not deep into evil themselves NO ONE would be able at all to use them in the commission of violent crimes against children, the pre born, etc. What I am seeing is that all manner of vileness goes on without interruption (until recently) because the platforms are "in bed" with the abusers, if not the abusers themselves. Destruction of children is big business on multiple levels. I don't think Facebook can say with a "straight face" that it always removes violent content. The ONLY 'violence' they object to is the defense of the helpless.
