I picked up on a comment POTUS made to the son of Sergeant Major Thomas (Patrick) Paine, who was presented the Congressional Medal of Honor yesterday. See from 3:21 in the video from this tweet:

4) The PEN probably also points us to the COMMON SENSE article by the original Thomas Paine.
