I watched almost all of that show. Sure, some is funny and some is cringy AF and over the line. I would also say a majority of humans can relate to many of the 'normal' experiences of puberty depicted.
There is a lot that is really fucking cringy and 'not' normal even though presented in a crude and humorous fashion. Grooming? IDK any parents that have let their kids watch it.
When I was a kid sneaking in a viewing of Eddie Murphy 'Raw' or 'Faces of Death' or a stack of playboy/hustler etc were tame compared to the potential damage/influence of Big Mouth/Cuties or whatever pedowood shit they are pushing.
Another difference is that we had to go and 'find' those things… Kids just have to get on the Netflix and there it is.

Absolutely. And good point on sneaking and being targeted at adults - we knew it was for adults.
Lazy parents don't know how to use parental controls or control what their kids are doing.
I spend some time with neices/nephews this past summer - Tried hammering into them/their parents about TikTok, IG, etc and the questionable content and how easy it is to find. The kids think some of this shit with adult men doing wierd shit is funny - some is outright deviant. They don't know the difference at whatever age they are. The parents need to know - I have told them - some of them are on those platforms themselves (not doing anything deviant) - but they surely must come across questionable content - I don't use them first-hand, but I have come across hard-core shit on twatter.
