Firefighting Flame Throwing Drones

I keep seeing arguments about the video with the flame throwing drone. Such tools are EXCELLENT firefighting tools in the hands of firefighters. Such tools are AWFUL in the hands of a pyromaniac. If you watch "the drone video" closely you will see that it is dropping fire on a specific side of an existing road. This is a common tactic used by firefighters to widen a firebreak using the road as a backstop and burning the materials on one side into the approaching blaze. Very effective when the winds are right. That is likely what is happening in this video. Below is some info about firefighting drones. Like all tools they can be used by good guys and bad guys. No different than a jogging hammer or whatever. My guess is what we saw was a back-fire. I hope this clears some stuff up.
