"https:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shot_heard_round_the_world

The phrase comes from the opening stanza of Ralph Waldo Emerson's "Concord Hymn" (1837) and refers to the first shot of the American Revolution. According to Emerson's poem, this pivotal shot occurred at the Old North Bridge in Concord, Massachusetts, where the first British soldiers fell in the battles of Lexington and Concord.

Historically, no single shot can be cited as the first shot of the battle or the war. Shots were fired earlier at Lexington, Massachusetts where eight Americans were killed and a British soldier was slightly wounded, but accounts of that event are confused and contradictory, and it has been characterized as a massacre rather than a battle. The North Bridge skirmish did see the first shots by Americans acting under orders, the first organized volley by Americans, the first British fatalities, and the first British retreat.

Again I say;

The Old North Bridge is a metaphor for Our Republic.

This is about to get very real, very fast."

Interesting,"karmic" synchronism [?] around "Ray" Chandler. If that is her name and she is from the L.A. Media family that means her ancestor was Royal Governor in what is now VT [?], father of Thomas Chandler Jr. - "Thomas Chandler, Jr. (1740-1798), Vermont colonial leader, founder of Chester, Vermont …" There is a bit of a mix-up in some on-line sources between father and son.

One can only apparently read about it in Genealogical research. But it's claimed that Royal Governor Chandler was involved with the first bullet of the Revolutionary War - which killed an American patriot. The governor was ruined because of the outcry against him as a result. His son disowned him. And the father was buried [allegedly] after dying in debtor's prison on the boundary between the jail-yard and the Church. They wouldn't bury him in the Church. The son went on to become a prominent member of the community in the newly established Nation; a judge.

If I run across the exact dates I'll try to make a better note of it all. Strange coincidences?
