re: Antifa firefighter photo

  1. The saw is a Husqvarna not a Stihl. Stihl uses a white and orange color scheme. The lettering on the bar (upside down as previously noted) says Husqvarna. Side note Stihls have an issue with the fuel tank pressurizing when running which causes them to vent out when the tank is opened for refueling, possibly pushing out gas. Not good for an environment where there is active fire. Because of this at least some organizations have switched to Huskys.

  1. The person in the middle is wearing low cut hiker boots. You can see the sock above the top of the boot on his left foot. This is NOT something a firefighter would wear in an active fire environment. The footwear on the other two looks correct to me. The one on the left is wearing chainsaw chaps. The one on the right looks female to me.

  1. This is most likely not the Oak fire (only a few miles from me) as that was all on private land so unlikely to have the concrete bollards and chains. In this area the August complex is the most likely. I don't recognize the foliage on the trees next to them. Most closely reminds me of walnut.

  1. The handle on the 3/4 axe laying on top of the saw has been blacked out. Suggests there is something unique about it. Same for the handle of the tool the one on the right is holding. They may be part of a private/contract firefighting team rather than a govt. team, with the company name on the handle of their tools.

One more thing:

Compare the antifa picture to this one. The antifa firefighters are not dressed for the fireline and are far too clean to have recently been on the fireline.
