Somebody ought to take Little Marco's speech about the history of our country and show it to the education secretary for an outline of curriculum for the spring semester (don't wait till next fall): wrinkles and all picture of our story: that yes, some certain Americans in certain states did own slaves, which is a terrible thing; but it was also Americans who changed this, and made our country better. And it's up to each and every American to make this country a better place by their own actions instead of worrying about the actions of others
