Heath Clayton is the Chief of Staff to the Chief Inclusion Officer at Deloitte, helping to create a workplace where everyone can connect, belong and grow. He began his professional career in 2007 at The White House, where he worked for President George W. Bush. After the administration, Heath served in the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Department of Energy before ultimately deciding to continue his career by making an impact in the private sector. He previously served as a Talent Development Leader at Deloitte, creating engaging learning experiences for audiences around the world to help them reach their full potential. In this role, managed community impact initiatives focusing on workforce development for military service members, veterans, professional athletes, LGBTQ+ professionals, and other groups to help them successfully transition to corporate careers. Heath also led learning and curriculum initiatives across the globe to equip Deloitte’s talent with the leadership development and industry knowledge required to provide outstanding service to their clients. Heath speaks frequently on a range of topics including diversity and inclusion in the workplace, Native American youth issues, and workforce development. He is on the Board of Directors for Out for Undergrad, a national non-profit that helps LGBTQ+ college students achieve their full potential. A native Texan, Heath is thrilled to spend more time in Dallas as an adjunct faculty member at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, lecturing on corporate social responsibility and ethics. When he's not busy working, Heath is usually on the road exploring new places. After visiting 100 countries before his 30th birthday (a personal goal he set at age 25) Heath is now focusing on top global sporting events and exploring the US National Parks. I know nothing about Oracle beyond they are located down near San Diego. I did a job for them and the staff treated me (Blue Collar guy, Mover) with absolute respect and dignity. Offered me food, water and paid me well and on time.
