This is as dangerous as DA's and the like. Sure, he has no interest beyond getting Democrats elected in the state position that deals with voting, sure.

Secretary of State Project

"In 2008, Soros donated about $10,000 to the Secretary of State (SoS) Project, which stemmed from the Democracy Alliance. The project was an independent 527 political organization founded in 2006 to devote efforts and resources toward helping Democrats get elected to the position of secretary of state in selected swing states for the purpose of protecting fairness in elections and shifting control to Democratic leadership. The project especially focused on Florida and Ohio, in response to the narrow presidential elections of 2000 and 2004, which Al Gore and John Kerry, respectively, lost to Republican candidate George W. Bush. The secretaries of state in both states were Republican during the 2000 and 2004 elections, leading Democrats to seek control of those positions. The SoS Project was active from 2006 to about 2010."

Sorry for the copy paste. By the time I try every way I can think of to do the embed, the bread is gone.

According to Michael Vachon, who managed Soros' political donations, Soros supported the organization financially but was not involved in other capacities. Said Vachon, "He [Soros] was in favor of electing Democrats secretary of state. George was not a founder of the project, and he never had an operational role or helped plan strategy."
