Guccifer 2.0 was a fake identity created by the DNC and Crowdstrike in their effort to blame Russia for the “hack”, which was really an effort to hide the fact that they murdered Seth Rich for helping extract the emails for WikiLeaks.
Apparently Seth’s brother was involved too, and Assange might be trying to protect his safety.
