familysearch.org is their free site, includes records too. I found a wealth of info.

My relatives blazed that trail, unfortunately. I cop to willingly giving data to ancestry. FORTUNATELY (since I look for a bright side to a fucked situation, or try) I can piggyback off of their information, andthen make handwritten trees like grammaAnon always made.
