I might eventually make it ALL available again, but not until I've developed a way to report posts. A reporting feature is actually on the To Do list of the Research Tool, if you've seen that page. A reported post would not be viewable again until it has been reviewed. I would set up the reporting feature so that only posts I haven't touched in my own editing process would be reportable. That way, someone can't just come in and make all the good stuff unavailable.
The reason I have abridged what I republish is that some of the stuff that has been getting posted lately is so objectionable that I don't want to republish it. The full database has 1,459,138 posts in it at this time. It's difficult to filter that stuff all by myself, especially considering that I am not a particularly fast reader to begin with. If I am able to enlist the help of other Anons to clean up the content by reporting the X rated stuff, the uselessly racist stuff, and the like, then it might be possible to post the entire database again.
If/When I do put the whole thing back up again, I can set up another search type to only show the abridged and reviewed stuff, for those who prefer it. And also, I may eventually develop a way to automatically fold all of the organized stuff back into the WordPress front end of the the site. That's where I started this project anyway.
It's been a while since I've updated the WordPress part of the site. The work that has gone into the Research Tool was meant to support it. Eventually, perhaps, the project will come full circle, and I'll look at integrating the work on the Research Tool with the WordPress site.
For now, though, I am posting only stuff that has been pointed out by bakers as notable. Thank you so much, bakers, for the great work you do.
