Knowing the area well, and the racial and ethnic settlement patterns, odds are quite high the rioter in this picture is an immigrant from Ethiopia or a child of immigrants from Ethiopia. His appearance supports this, as would a typical Somali-looking resident in Minneapolis. This is not a historical African-American in the pic rioting.
