Hollywood Mogul Haim Saban Attends Trump’s White House Peace Ceremony Day After Raising $4.5 Million for Joe Biden
Haim Saban, the billionaire Hollywood mogul and Democratic Party mega-donor, attended President Donald Trump’s peace ceremony at the White House Tuesday — one day after raising $4.5 million for rival Joe Biden’s presidential campaign.
Saban was seen on the White House lawn as dignitaries arrived for the historic signing of peace agreements between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, as well as between Israel and Bahrain — a vindication of Trump’s foreign policy leadership.

As Breitbart News and others reported last week, the ticket price for Saban’s virtual fundraiser was $500,000 per person. It was co-hosted by House Intelligence Committee Chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who tried to remove Trump from office.
Deadline reported Monday that the Biden campaign raised a total of $4.5 million through the Saban fundraiser.
The peace agreements signed Tuesday are known as the Abraham Accords, named for the father of monotheism, common to Christianity, Islam, and Judaism.
As Bret Stephens of the New York Times — a “Never Trump” critic of the president — noted, the accords were the unique achievement of President Donald Trump, who broke with the approaches of previous administrations.
In a message statement endorsing Biden, Saban said: “I am confident that Joe is the right leader to make real progress for Americans and our international partners.”
Several senior Democrats also attended the ceremony, according to Politico.

China Calls U.S. Ban on Uyghur Slave-Picked Cotton ‘Naked Act of Bullying’
A spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry on Tuesday decried the U.S.-enacted limits on importing cotton, apparel, hair products, and other goods from companies reasonably believed to be engaging in slave labor in China, calling the sanctions a “naked act of bullying.”
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), in tandem with Customs and Border Protection (CBP), announced five new Withhold Release Orders on products from Xinjiang, China’s westernmost province, believed to be home to over 1,000 concentration camps. China has imprisoned as many as 3 million Muslims, most of ethnic Uyghur descent, in the camps, where survivors say they are subject to indoctrination, torture, rape, forced sterilization, and slavery. The Withhold Release Orders prohibit importing goods from six Chinese companies operating in Xinjiang, affecting hair products, computer parts, and cotton and clothing.
The orders follow a massive bust of 13 tons of human hair from Xinjiang worth $800,000 in Newark, New Jersey, in July. At the time, CBP said the hair was likely the product of forced prison labor, though American officials could not confirm if it came from concentration camp victims. Witnesses say Communist Party officials shave the hair off of women’s heads almost immediately upon entering the facilities.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin described the move to keep slave-produced merchandise out of the United States as stemming from “prejudice,” presumably against China, and claiming that any reports of slavery in Xinjiang are “fabricated.”
“We urge the U.S. to respect facts, drop prejudice, stop political manipulation and using Xinjiang affairs to undermine normal economic and trade cooperation between China and the U.S.,” the state-run Global Times newspaper quoted Wang as saying. “China will continue to take all necessary measures to protect Chinese companies’ legal rights and interests.”
“It is naked acts of bullying. China firmly opposes this,” Wang continued, adding that any allegations of slavery in China were “completely fabricated by certain U.S. and Western organizations and individuals and are not facts.”
On Monday, asked to weigh in on America’s opposition to concentration camps in Xinjiang before the CBP issued its new guidelines, Wang accused Washington of supporting “terrorists.”

Pompeo on Trump’s Peace Push: Deals ‘Are All Connected’ to Trump’s ‘Strategy’ Recognizing Iran as ‘Primary Operator for Instability’
NICOSIA, Cyprus — Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told Breitbart News exclusively that President Donald Trump’s peace deals in the Middle East are “all connected” and stem from recognizing Iran as the primary threat to stability in the region.
Pompeo’s interview came late Saturday night aboard the U.S. Air Force jet transporting him and the U.S. delegation after he met with the president of the Republic of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, whom he visited here after earlier in the day attending the opening of intra-Afghan peace talks in Doha, Qatar. As the jet touched down in Doha late Friday night the previous evening, the deal being rolled out this week between Bahrain and Israel to normalize relations was announced. Previously, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Israel announced they were normalizing relations. On Tuesday at the White House, representatives of both Bahrain and UAE are meeting with Trump in addition to Israeli officials including Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu.
“It’s a great question. They are all connected,” Pompeo told Breitbart News when asked to connect the dots between the Afghan peace talks and these other peace deals being rolled out now. “The president laid down a strategy for how to secure America from instability and threats from the Middle East.”
Pompeo, who is at the White House with Trump and other American officials as part of the historic meetings for the peace deals on Tuesday, said that Trump’s Middle East policy strategy vision began by treating Iran as the main threat in the region.
“It began by recognizing the primary operator for instability, the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Pompeo said. “That central decision has begun to drive all of the elements of our foreign policy in the Middle East. Reduce our footprint in Afghanistan, get our young men and women home. Reduce our footprints in Iraq and Syria, be strong in terms of sanctions and place pressure on the regime, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and then lay out a strategy for Middle East peace which had multiple pieces right?”
Several of the steps that laid the groundwork for these major steps toward Middle East peace, Pompeo told Breitbart News, include recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and several other steps taken in Israel. That, he said, has lit a path forward for Arab countries in the region for a vision for peace.
“Some of this is reality: Recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, acknowledge that the Golan Heights indeed is Israeli territory. We’ve also made clear that the settlements in the West Bank were necessarily unlawful,” Pompeo said. “All of those things come together to place the conditions where frankly countries in the Middle East can see a path forward for how you can take down risk and grow their economies. We think about these deals between Bahrain and the Emirates as security arrangements. That’s true, but the benefits to the economies of those three countries of opening up trade will be enormous.”

Michelle Loielo: The mum-of-three who may free Victorians from Andrews’ hated curfew
A mother-of-three and cafe owner who has made a Supreme Court challenge to Victoria’s curfew could free the state from restrictions.
A suburban mother-of-three may turn out to be a state hero after she launched a court bid to free Victorians from Premier Daniel Andrews’ coronavirus curfew.
Just days after the Victorian Premier insisted he wouldn’t budge on Victoria’s 9am to 5pm curfew, Michelle Loielo mounted a legal challenge in Melbourne’s Supreme Court.
Ms Loielo, a 41-year-old mother and cafe owner from Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, filed documents in the Supreme Court via eminent Melbourne barrister Marcus Clarke, QC, on Tuesday afternoon to have the curfew removed.
The widowed mother, who says stage four lockdowns has cost her 99 per cent of her business, has claimed the curfew has violated her rights to freedom, liberty and security.
The application argues the curfew direction is invalid, irrational and illogical.
“Last week I made $400,” she wrote in a court affidavit supporting her claim.
“This situation troubles me greatly, as I am the sole financial provider for my three children.
“I am genuinely concerned that I am not going to be able to provide for my children if this situation continues.
“I am afraid that I will lose my house.
“Since the implementation of the curfew I would describe the home environment for my children and I as absolutely suffocating.
“Looking after the mental and emotional wellbeing of my children, coupled with the pressure of trying to keep my business afloat, has taken a significant toll on my health.
“The social isolation from my family and friends has been unbearable.”
Ms Loielo has asked the Supreme Court to either rule the curfew unlawful, or quash the Stay At Home Directions that stipulate it.

Government Seeks Five Years in Prison for Clare Bronfman
The US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York is recommending a five-year sentence for Clare Webb Bronfman, the Seagram’s heiress who funded and led the Nxivm racketeering enterprise.
This is in stark contrast to Bronfman’s attorneys who have recommended she receive 3-years of probation.
It is now up to Judge Nicholas G. Garaufis, who is set to sentence Bronfman on Sept. 30.
Based on her original plea agreement, the estimated sentencing guidelines were from 21-27 months, but the judge has already indicated he is considering an upward departure.
Bronfman pleaded guilty to both counts of a two-count Superseding Information. Count One charged that between October 2015 and January 2018, Bronfman, together with others, conspired to conceal, harbor and shield from detection one or more aliens for financial gain.
Count Two charged that between November 2016 and March 2018, Bronfman, together with others, unlawfully
transferred and used a means of identification of another person with the intent to commit and in connection with attempted tax evasion.
The recommendation for five years is contained in the prosecution’s “Sentencing Memorandum” that was filed with the court today.
What the judge will do is anybody’s guess but, based on available evidence, the sinister and ruthless heiress is likely to get more than the probation her attorneys want, more than the 27 months her original plea deal estimated, and it would not surprise anyone if she got the full five years the government is recommending.
Of course, it is possible, but not likely, that the judge will sentence her to more than 5 years. She faces an absolute maximum sentence of 25 years.
In subsequent posts, we will review more details that have emerged in this “Sentencing Memorandum”, a document so long and thorough that it runs more than 20,000 words.

While President Trump lashes out at rioting and looting in Portland and Kenosha, half way around the world, the USA and Turkey are plundering and looting Syria on a vastly greater scale with impunity and little publicity.
Turkey Loots Syria, then Disrupts Safe Water Supply
Turkey has been plundering the Syrian infrastructure for years. Beginning in late 2012 and continuing through 2013 some 300 industrial factories were dismantled and taken to Turkey from Aleppo, the industrial capital of Syria. “Machinery and goods were loaded on trucks and carried off to Turkey through the Cilvegozu and Ceylanpinar crossings. Unfortunately, ‘plundering’ and ‘terror’ have become permanent parts of the Syrian lexicon when explaining their saga.”
In October 2019 Turkish forces invaded Syria and now occupy a strip of land in north east Syria. The area is controlled by the Turkish military and pro Turkish militia forces misnamed the “Syrian National Army”. Turkish President Erdogan dubbed the invasion “Peace Spring” and said the goal was to create a “safe zone”. The reality was that 200 thousand Syrians fled the invasion and over 100 thousand have been permanently displaced from their homes, farms, workplaces and livelihoods.
The industrial scale looting continues. As reported recently in the story headlined Turkish-backed factions take apart power pylons in rural Ras Al-Ain: “Reliable sources have informed SOHR that Turkish-backed factions steal electricity power towers and pylons in ‘Peace Spring’ areas in Ras Al-Ain countryside.”
Turkey now controls the border city of Ras al-Ain and the nearby Allouk water treatment and pumping station. This is the water station supplying safe water to the city Hasaka and entire region. The Turkish forces are using water as a weapon of war, shutting down the station to pressure the population to be compliant. For over two weeks in August, with daily temperatures of 100 F, there was no running water for nearly one million people.
With no tap water, civilians were forced to queue up for hours to receive small amounts from water trucks. Unable to buy the water, other civilians took their chances by drinking water from unsafe wells. According to Judy Jacoub, a Syrian journalist originally from Hasaka,
“The residents of Hasaka and its countryside have been pushed to rely on unsafe water sources ….Many residents have been suffering from the spread of fungi, germs and dirt in their hair and bodies as a result of using well water that is not suitable for drinking and personal hygiene. The people of Hasaka remain vulnerable to diseases and epidemics because of the high temperatures and spread of infectious diseases. If the situation is not controlled as soon as possible, the spread of Corona virus will undoubtedly be devastating.“

“After Syrian and international efforts exerted pressure on the Turkish regime, 17 wells and three pumps were started . The main reservoirs were filled and pumping was started toward the city neighborhoods. The Irish doctor featured in the video below has 35 years’ experience as a practicing General Practitioner in Derry, Ireland.
She first knew the pandemic was “fake” when the WHO first declared pandemic with an announcement of 4,291 deaths globally. This, she says, represents 1 death per 1.8 million people. Context is important.
When rules were changed around Death Certificate coding, as happened in North America and beyond, it was the first time in her professional career that she had witnessed this. It meant that COVID data could not be compared to previous outbreaks, it couldn’t be compared to “what had happened before”.
Consistent with Canadian guideline changes as described by Rosemary Frei (1), definitions of COVID symptomology were broad and lacking in specificity.
“Anybody with temperature or cough prior to their death no matter what else was wrong with them was to be counted as COVID deaths.”
Heart disease, diabetes, cancer and myriad other co-morbidities were falsely deemed insignificant according to the “new rules”.
“Sick, frail, elderly were taken from hospital wards not operating at capacity and shoved into the care-home sector.”
She watched people dying alone, and flatly asserts that “what happened was barbarity.” This happened “lock-step” across Europe, she says. It also happened lock-step across North America.
Citing a British medical journal, she reports that 2 out of 3 “COVID” deaths were due to state-imposed “COVID measures”, in particular, lock-downs.
Bringing context to the debate again, she says that a person has a 0.0112% per cent chance of “Dying of COVID”, but the chances are much lower if a person is under 80 and free from co-morbidities.
Finally, she makes some important observations:
First, the global response to COVID is directed at every stage by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Second, Key funders to the WHO and to Research Centers that made grossly inaccurate pandemic modelling scenarios, are the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Third, the person most vocal about the need for a vaccine is Bill Gates.
Fourth, pharmaceutical companies will profit most from vaccines, but they will not shoulder the risks. Governments will be liable for costs accrued to vaccine injuries.
Fifth, she predicts that there will not be a second wave, despite the fact that viruses extinguish themselves (as SARS-1 did), and that currently COVID is “clinically irrelevant”.
Finally, she predicts that there will be a “testdemic” as a pretext to locking people up again.

With the November election looming, the two presidential candidates have intensified their attacks on each other, both in real life and on social media.
President Donald Trump retweeted a post showing the ex-Defence Secretary Ash Carter giving a swearing-in speech at the White House in February 2015, while his wife, Carter, and Joe Biden are standing nearby.
The GIF captures the moment when Biden leans towards Carter's wife from behind and whispers something in her ear, with his hands placed on her shoulders. She then smiles and nods.
It is not unclear why exactly this hashtag was placed there, as the woman is certainly above school age.
Carter's spouse clarified the situation in a post published on Medium in 2019 and dubbed "The #MeToo Story That Wasn't Me", alluding to the modern movement against sexual harassment. The woman wrote that Biden's embrace was meant to express support for them and that she and her husband have long been friends with the former vice president.
"But a still shot taken from a video — misleadingly extracted from what was a longer moment between close friends — sent out in a snarky tweet — came to be the lasting image of that day."
