I get the typical black person's gut instinct to ask "when was America ever great," primarily because it's constantly reinforced in them about "muh slavery" and Jim Crow and <insert every typical talking pointbut blacks with that mentality really need to look at how all other minority groups have done here, and how blacks who've applied rational thinking, work skills and MORALITY have gotten ahead and done well. It is NOT hard to make a living in this country. It may require geographic relocation to a lower cost-of-living and/or job-availability spot, and willingness to put in AT LEAST 40 hours a week at something you can half-assed master the ability to do, but get those things under control (along with the ESSENTIAL implementation of some basic morality) and it becomes pretty HARD to not be able to make a decent life for yourself…ESPECIALLY as compared to ANY of their "native lands." These people REALLY need to look in the mirror, turn off the TV, do some reading about anything that's NEVER talked about on TV and learn to appreciate the AMAZING LOTTERY WIN they were born into by way of their ancestors having been hauled here on slave ships. Plop these peeple down in wherever their ancestory goes back to, let them live there for TWO WEEKS (hell, less than that) and they'd sing a very different tune.
