Rocket Fired At US Embassy Baghdad Marks 4th Attack On Western Targets In 48 Hours

On Thursday sirens range out in Baghdad's Green Zone alerting personnel at the US embassy of an inbound rocket attack after a series of similar attacks on Western targets in the Iraqi capital over the last 48 hours.

"Iraqi Security Media Cell has confirmed a Katyusha rocket fell inside the Green Zone, specifically near a residential apartment," an official US military coalition statement said. "Outlaw groups continue to target Iraqis," it added.

The day prior, on Tuesday, AFP reported that "three separate attacks in 24 hours have targeted Western diplomatic or military installations in Iraq, security and diplomatic sources said Tuesday, hinting at a new escalation between authorities and rogue groups."

Previously this week two two Katyusha rockets targeted the U.S. Embassy, however, no one has been hurt in any of the attacks which left only light damage.

It remains unclear exactly which group or groups are behind the attacks, but the State Department has in the past pointed the finger consistently at Iran-backed Iraqi Shia militia groups.

In just the last 48 hours Baghdad has witnessed the following:

a Monday Katyusha rocket attacks on the US embassy

on Monday two explosives devices were detonated, targeting a U.S.-led coalition equipment convoy

a Tuesday morning IED detonation targeting a British Embassy vehicle

a Wednesday rocket attack on the US embassy

During Monday's attack the US embassy's C-RAM system, or "Counter rocket, artillery, and mortar" system, was activated in response to the inbound rocket fire.

A week ago the Pentagon announced that a major Trump-ordered American troop draw down from Iraq would begin this month.

CENTCOM chief Gen. Frank McKenzie said while touring a US base in Iraq that troop numbers there will be cut down to from 5,200 to 3,000 this month.

But it seems every time the White House pushes for a sizeable Mideast troop exit, a series of conflict incidents serves to keep the US bogged down and present.

Turkish police detain 106 active & former soldiers over suspected links to Gulen movement – local media

Over 100 active & former soldiers were detained in counterterrorism raids in Turkey, local media say. The arrests were made in connection with self-exiled preacher Fethullah Gulen, who Ankara says was behind the 2016 coup attempt.

Authorities issued arrest warrants for 132 people, 106 of which were detained by counterterrorism units, Turkish news outlets reported, citing security sources. The operation was conducted across 34 provinces, and police are still looking for the remaining suspects, the reports said.

All of the suspects were said to be active-duty or retired soldiers of the Turkish Army.

Ankara regularly reports on raids against people with suspected links to the Gulen movement, which is considered a terrorist group in the country. On Monday, Turkish media said police detained 41 people, including former military personnel.

Islamic scholar and preacher Fethullah Gulen has been living in self-exile in the US since 1999. Turkey has repeatedly demanded his extradition, but the US refuses to hand him over.

Turkish authorities believe that Gulen was the key figure behind the failed 2016 military coup, in which groups of soldiers and officers tried to seize control over Istanbul and several other major cities across the country, but were quickly overpowered by troops loyal to the government.

Hitler pics & swastikas: 29 German police officers suspended amid major probe into Nazi content sharing

A high-profile probe into a right-wing extremist network in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia sees 29 police officers suspended following large-scale raids.

More than 200 officers took part in raids against their own colleagues early on Wednesday. A total of 34 police stations and private apartments were searched in the German cities of Duisburg, Essen, Moers, Muelheim and Oberhausen as law enforcement sought to expose a hidden far-right extremist network sharing Nazi images online within its ranks.

As a result, a total of 29 police officers were suspended on suspicion of being members of five extremist online chats, where they shared Nazi images and other far-right material. Criminal probes have been launched against 14 of them since they stand accused of membership in an "anti-constitutional" organization as well as the distribution of extremist materials. Evidence collected against another 15 was deemed insufficient for criminal charges but they are likely to face disciplinary penalties and possible discharge from the police force.

Most of the suspects were serving in one regional police department in the city of Essen.

The magnitude of the incident even prompted the regional interior minister, Herbert Reul, to call a press conference on short notice to comment on the case he described as a "disgrace for the police" that shook the regional law enforcement "to their core."

"Right-wing extremists have no business with the North Rhine-Westphalia police," Reul said, adding that the very existence of the extremist networks was "a slap in the face for the majority of the 50,000 [regional] police officers." He also vowed to get to the bottom of this case to find out how the extremist chats managed to stay unnoticed for years.

According to investigators, some of the five online groups in question are believed to be created back in 2012 and 2015. Up to 126 files containing "criminally relevant content" were discovered during the probe, including photos of Adolf Hitler, Swastikas and Nazi Germany flags as well as fictional images depicting refugees in concentration camps and gas chambers.

The groups were discovered in August as part of another internal investigation against a 32-year-old officer suspected of leaking some classified information to a journalist. When investigators seized the officer’s phone they found Nazi-related material in it. In early September, a special internal commission was set up to deal with that case.

Investigators now expect the number of suspects to rise, since they obtained additional potential evidence during the raids. "Until now, we had just one cell phone, from which we got all the information. Now, we have more phones," Reul said, adding that the issue appears to be too significant to describe it as just some "individual cases." Still, he also denied it was a "structural problem facing the police."

Pew: Majority of Young Americans Live with Parents for First Time Since Great Depression

A recent poll by the Pew Research Center revealed that a majority of young Americans are living with their parents for the first time since the Great Depression. As of July, approximately 52 percent of young Americans between the ages of 18 and 29 lived with their parents. The number of young adults living with their parents has spiked by 2.6 million since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to a study by the Pew Research Center, a majority of young Americans live with their parents for the first time since the Great Depression. Approximately 48 percent of young Americans lived with their parents in 1940, the earliest year that such data is available. Now, approximately 52 percent of young Americans live with their parents.

The number of young adults that live with their parents spiked at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in February. That number increased by 2.6 million between February and July.

“The number living with parents grew to 26.6 million, an increase of 2.6 million from February. The number and share of young adults living with their parents grew across the board for all major racial and ethnic groups, men and women, and metropolitan and rural residents, as well as in all four main census regions,” the report reads. “Growth was sharpest for the youngest adults (ages 18 to 24) and for White young adults.”

The report also revealed that young men are more likely to live with their parents than young women. “Young men are more likely than young women to live with their parents, and both groups experienced increases in the number and share residing with mom, dad or both parents since the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak,” the report reads. “Similarly, a higher share of young adults in metropolitan areas compared with rural ones live with their parents now, but the number in both areas grew from February to July.”

Farage Watched French Warship Escort Migrant Boat into British Waters

Nigel Farage reported from the English Channel on Wednesday that French authorities continue to escort boats full of illegal aliens into British waters, despite UK government claims that France is doing all it can to stop illegal migration.

The Brexit Party leader first reported on the French navy escorting migrant boats into British waters in May. After the story garnered mainstream attention, authorities claimed that under maritime law, the French could not forcibly turn around the vessels or intervene unless the illegals expressly gave consent.

While Paris and London had heated exchanges across the Channel over whose responsibility it was to prevent illegals leaving French soil, the British government has seen claimed that France is as “committed” as the UK to stopping the migrant crisis.

Mr Farage’s reporting on Wednesday suggests otherwise.

Livestreaming in the English Channel in a boat, the politician-turned-investigative-journalist told his Facebook followers: “Not much has changed. We’ve been watching for an hour a big French warship escort this boat into British waters.”

He said: “This is what is going on the English Channel every single day. We keep being told by Priti Patel and Chris Philp, the immigration minister, that the French are doing a good job turning around migrant boats.

“We’ve spent an hour watching the French escorting illegal migrants into United Kingdom waters.”

“Nothing’s going to change,” he added.

After escorting the boat into British waters — and even giving those on board life jackets — the French vessel turned around, leaving the small craft in the middle of the Channel. Perilously taking on water, Farage decided to continue to follow the vessel in case it should come into distress before UK Border Force or the coastguard arrived.

The migrants began should out “England! England!”, when asked by Farage where they were heading. The Brexit veteran was able to confirm with those on board that their vessel was carrying 16 people, who he deduced by their dress were from Afghanistan.

Mostly men with a couple of women and one child, Mr Farage observed that that was a typical ratio for passengers aboard migrant boats.

“Roughly, 80 to 85 per cent of those who come are young men between 18 and 30,” he said.

‘If We Go Off-Script We’re Race-Traitors’ – Black Educator Mobbed After Criticising BLM, Critical Race Theory

In an interview with Breitbart London, political commentator and former school teacher Calvin Robinson said that he faces racial abuse whenever he speaks out against the hard-left ideology of Black Lives Matter and proponents of Marxist Critical Race Theory (CRT).

On Tuesday, Mr Robinson appeared on the ITV television show, Good Morning Britain, to discuss a Black Lives Matter-inspired prime time TV performance by the dance troupe Diversity, which drew tens of thousands of broadcast regulator complaints from the British public. During his appearance, Mr Robinson criticised ITV for promoting the performance, which he described as being steeped in “Critical Race Theory”.

Following his appearance, Robinson told Breitbart London that he received a barrage of racist abuse on social media by supporters of the far-left Black Lives Matter movement.

“Every time I’ve spoken out against BLM using CRT, they attack me with racially derogatory terms,” Robinson said.

“Apparently, black people must all think the same way. If we go off-script, we’re race-traitors, ‘Bounties’, and ‘coons’. It seems BLM don’t support racial equality after all, because if they did, surely they’d encourage diversity and expect black people to hold many different views across the political spectrum,” he added.

British basketball player Kofi Josephs said that Mr Robinson’s afro hairstyle couldn’t hide “the coon chip”. The editor-in-chief of the leftist news website The Canary, Kerry-Anne Mendoza, piled on by saying: “Ffs. I reserve the right to verbally beat the shit out of any fellow POC [person of colour] who serves as waterboy to fascism.”

Calvin Robinson told Breitbart London that he feels that BLM is one of the most destructive forces in British society and should be classified as a domestic terrorist organisation.

“They’re promoting racial segregation, vandalism, and violence,” he said, adding that proponents of Critical Race Theory perpetuate “the myth of racial superiority”.

Robinson said that the hard-left has “perfected the wicked methodologies of the far-right; the idea that white people are somehow superior, at a natural advantage, based on the colour of their skin. Whereas black people are at a natural disadvantage.”

“It’s nonsense, of course,” he added.

Robinson warned that by pushing the concept of white privilege, the far-left is creating an environment in which black people are coaxed into “embracing a victimhood mentality”, adding that if you constantly tell people they are oppressed, “they might start to believe it”.

Mr Robinson described Critical Race Theory as a “power play” that seeks to use black people as “pawns in their game”, despite not addressing the real issues facing the black community.

“Movements like Black Lives Matter are Marxist organisations who want to destroy our way of life and rebuild it in their image. What we’re seeing here is standard divide and conquer,” he explained.

On the controversy surrounding the Black Lives Matter inspired performance by Diversity on Britain’s Got Talent, Robinson said: “Diversity seem like a decent bunch of guys, and I genuinely think they had good intentions.”

Family’s Home Raided After Nerf Guns Seen in Child’s Room During Virtual Learning

Rosedale, MD — As the country attempts to restart the public education process which was brought to its knees during the COVID-19 lockdown in March, there is no shortage of hurdles to both families and teachers. However, the following case illustrates how many of these hurdles are unnecessarily created because of the tendency of the system to rely on the police state and fear. A family’s home was raided recently after a kid’s toy guns were seen hanging on the wall during virtual learning.

Courtney Lancaster, the mother of the fifth grader who had his own principal snitch on him in June for an obvious toy gun, told Project Baltimore that the day cops visited their home was the most unbelievable day of her life. For weeks after the incident, Lancaster fought to get the details of why cops came to her home that day, but the school refused to cooperate.

Now, Lancaster, with the help of Project Baltimore, has obtained the 911 call showing how this most ridiculous nanny state “see something, say something” incident began. The 911 call is as follows.

“My name is Jason Feiler. I’m the principal at Seneca Elementary School. Today, during one of our online meetings there was a student, who we could see there were weapons in the background, possibly real weapons. It looked like a shotgun or a rifle in the background.” The principal continued, “It could be fake. You can tell Nerf guns and things like that. It definitely did not have that look to it.” He went on to say in the call, “We still have to follow whatever rules we would have in the building.”

Thanks to an irrational fear of guns and an overwhelming ignorance of what they look like, the principal’s call resulted in police being immediately dispatched and sent to the family’s home. The idea that “gun free zones” extend off campus into virtual classroom environments inside the private property of a family is shocking to say the least. Nevertheless, police were called out to the home.

Luckily for the Lancaster family, the cops who showed up to their home were kind and rational. When they came to the door, they told the mother that because they received a call from school, they would have to be allowed to observe the boy’s room.

As WBFF reports, shortly after the 911 call, police responded to Lancaster’s home to search her son’s bedroom for weapons. The police body camera footage, obtained by Fox45, shows as soon as the officer enters the boy’s bedroom, he immediately realizes the guns, hanging on a pegboard, were not firearms, they were BB guns and toys.

“Ma’am, I definitely apologize for bothering you,” said the officer while inside the boy’s room. “I had more than you when I was a kid.”

The 50-state survey on Holocaust knowledge among US Millennial and Gen Z was commissioned by the organization “Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.”

The survey consisted of roughly 1,000 nationwide interviews, with participants selected at random, and a further 200 interviews of young adults aged 18 to 39 in each state.

Some 63 percent of all respondents did not know that six million Jews were murdered, while 36 percent thought that “two million or fewer Jews” were killed.

Roughly 48 percent of respondents couldn't name a single concentration camp or Jewish ghetto from World War II.

“The results are both shocking and saddening and they underscore why we must act now while Holocaust survivors are still with us to voice their stories,” said Gideon Taylor, President of the organization behind the study.

Beijing Cautions ‘Stupid’ Australia: End ‘Uncivilized, Rude’ Challenges to China’s Diplomats

An increasingly frustrated China lashed out at what it called “stupid” Australia on Wednesday, using an editorial in a Communist Party mouthpiece to demand an end to Canberra’s “smears” against Chinese journalists, diplomats and academics.

The editorial in the Global Times said recent moves against some Chinese diplomats in Australia were “following the strategic steps of the U.S.” and China is entirely blameless of any and all charges against it. The editorial said:

Australia has long had good and friendly images of Chinese, but that is now being gradually destroyed by Australia itself, and ordinary Chinese and scholars no longer have a sense of security in the country. Australia’s intention of using China as a lever for its own international presence at any cost is stupid and will backfire.

The Consulate always observes international law and basic norms of international relations while exercising its duties in Australia.

Australia’s move is not what “a civilized country should do, and it is very rude,” Lei Jianfeng, a professor from the China Foreign Affairs University who previously worked in a Chinese consulate overseas, told the Times.

“From a practical point of view, although there will be small actions between major powers, they at least respect diplomatic and consular personnel, and will do nothing like what Australia and the U.S. have done in openly disregarding basic rules,” Lei said.

China’s attack came two days after Australia’s interior ministry defended the government’s recent intelligence raids on Chinese agents “masquerading as journalists” in Australia, as Breitbart News reported.

In June, Australian intelligence agencies raided the homes of four Chinese individuals accused of posing as journalists in Australia.

Last Friday, Australia’s trade minister revealed the agencies “acted on evidence related to a foreign interference investigation,” according to Reuters.

Australian Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) the intelligence services have every right to conduct raids on individuals suspected of foreign interference.

“Where ASIO [the Australian Security Intelligence Organization] has sufficient grounds for the execution of a search warrant, or for activities otherwise, then they’ll undertake that activity,” Dutton asserted.

Now Beijing is hitting back, alleging Australia is violating the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations by its assertive response to China’s interests. It said such actions diminish Australia:

Australia has been marginalized on the international stage for a long time, and its recent moves aim to challenge China at any cost to highlight its sense of existence and seek a greater voice on the international arena, but this strategy is ‘very stupid.’

Australia’s determination to stand up to China in a host of areas is well documented.

In April, it demanded an international investigation into the true origins of the Chinese coronavirus, which Beijing has been accused of trying to cover up since it was first identified last November in the city of Wuhan.

‘No place in our Union’: EU chief bashes Polish 'LGBT-free zones' & promotes supportive strategy

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has attacked the Polish government for condoning the establishment of ‘LGBT ideology-free zones,’ and announced impending countermeasures.

“LGBTQI-free zones are humanity free zones,” Von der Leyen said on Wednesday while addressing the European Parliament.

And they have no place in our [European] Union.

The chief executive added that any breaches of European laws regarding the treatment of the LGBT community “cannot be tolerated”.

Polish officials’ openly anti-gay positions have also prompted the Commission to develop a “strategy to strengthen LGBTQI rights” in the bloc. As part of it, there will be a push to recognize registered same-sex family relations between EU citizens by all member countries. “If you are parent in one country, you are parent in every country,” Von der Leyen said.

Currently, some countries in the Union do not recognize same sex marriage and parenthood, which sometimes leads to citizens, most importantly children, having differing legal statuses when crossing borders inside the EU.

Starting this year, various regions of Poland have declared themselves ‘LGBT ideology-free zones,’ which coincided with local bans of gay marriages and LGBT events. Right now, these zones make up about a third of the country.

In July the European Commissioner for Justice and Equality Helena Dalli announced that six Polish cities would not be granted EU funding for adopting the ‘LGBT-free zones’.

Unspoken Truth

We all know it yet the unspoken truth deserves to be said out aloud.

You all heard the phrases ‘Don’t fight the Fed’, and ‘ there is no alternative’. Can we be clear what these phrases really mean? They mean people are buying assets at prices they otherwise wouldn’t because a central planning committee is putting in market conditions that changes their market behavior.

People are paying forward multiples that are higher than they would if they earned higher interest income. The ‘desperate search for yield’ they call it. Think of it as a forced auction. You must pay, and you must pay more because you can’t bid on anything else and neither can anyone else hence there are now bidders for ever less available product (i.e. think shrinking share floats) driving prices wildly higher. And as central banks have become permanently dovish over the past decade Fed meetings are the principal impetus for rallies. Indeed most gains in markets come around days that have Fed Day written on them, a well established history going back decades now.

A fact the Fed itself is very well aware of:

“In a 2011 paper, New York Fed economists showed that from 1994 to 2011 almost all the S&P 500’s returns came in the 3 days around an FOMC decision. Over this period the index rose by 270%, and most of those gains happened the before, the day of, and the day after a Fed meeting.”

So Pavlovian has the response become that shorts automatically cover ahead of Fed meetings and investors buy ahead of Fed meetings expecting a positive response. The Fed is the market as it’s driving its entire behavior. The “Fed put” they call it. Another phrase that explicitly acknowledges that investors are orienting their risk profile behavior on what this unelected committee does.

And it is this over decade long process of now permanent intervention that has produced the ever widening disconnect in asset prices from the economy:

Former Der Spiegel reporter John Goetz told Julian Assange's extradition hearing that WikiLeaks was 'removing bad stuff' to ensure no one was put at risk.

Assange, 49, is wanted in the US for allegedly conspiring with army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning to expose military secrets between January and May 2010.

The US claim the WikiLeaks founder published the un-redacted names of US informants living in Iraq and Afghanistan. This potentially put their lives in danger, Washington says.

However, Mr Goetz, who worked with The Guardian and New York Times on the Afghan files, said there was no evidence harm came from the leaks.

He told Assange's lawyer Edward Fitzgerald, QC, the news organisations 'over-redacted' the material.

'Serious' bomb-making materials are discovered inside NYC home following a fire and tenant 'with a survivalist guide' is led away as FBI investigates

The FBI is investigating after a stash of possible bomb-making materials was found at a Queens home hours after the building caught fire on Tuesday.

The suspicious items were found at a two-story building on 19th Street in Astoria after the blaze was extinguished.

Fire marshals found a supply of chemicals and 'a number of books and manuals' that led them to summon the NYPD bomb squad - although there was no 'assembled' device at the home.

Footage showed a tenant being taken into custody, described by cops as a 'distraught individual' who was sent to a Manhattan hospital because of his 'emotional state'.

The FBI is now helping the investigation into the suspicious materials, which are thought to be a 'one-man job', while the man is known to police after a previous domestic violence arrest.

Footage broadcast by Pix11 showed the shirtless man being taken away after he greeted firefighters in an 'argumentative' manner with burns on his hands.

The man was the tenant of the downstairs portion of the house, while the landlord later arrived to inspect the damage.

It is not clear whether he has been arrested or what charges he could face.

Sources told the Daily News that investigators found 'survivalist' materials and a book with bomb-making instructions, manuals on booby traps and material on military explosives when they searched the home.

'There was nothing ready to blow up, but you've got to take it seriously,' one source told the Daily News. 'It appears to be a one-man play.'

NYPD deputy commissioner of intelligence and counterterrorism John Miller said in a press conference Tuesday night that chemicals found inside the home could be combined to make an explosive.

Mark Torre of the NYPD bomb squad described them as 'precursor materials' that could be made into a dangerous device.

'We are going to have to go over and figure out what all this means,' Miller said, adding that cops were awaiting a warrant for further searches.

The man is known to police but it is too early to say whether he could be linked to any organization, Miller said.

Pix11 added that the man had been taken to hospital, where he remained last night, as he was acting 'emotionally disturbed'.

The owner of the home told Pix11 that the FDNY pulled a black crate into the front yard of the building as they had fought back the blaze.

The owner called the FBI after fuses and powder were found inside.

Sources told the New York Post that wick cords, used for fuses, and possibly ammonium nitrate were in the crate.

Chinese software firm that 'provides intelligence to the government and military' collects data from 50,000 Americans - including prominent public figures and military leaders

A Chinese software firm that allegedly provides intelligence to the Chinese government has been collecting data from Americans - including prominent public figures and military leaders - since 2017.

Shenzhen Zhenhua Data Technology has gathered online data and social media on more than two million people worldwide including that of 50,000 Americans for the suspected purpose of providing intelligence to Chinese military, government and commercial clients, according to Australian cybersecurity consultancy Internet 2.0.

The revelation comes after the consultancy gained access to and analyzed a copy of Zhenhua's database - called the Overseas Key Information Database or OKIDB - after it was left unsecured online.

Internet 2.0 downloaded and reconstructed about 10 percent of Zhenhua's database, the consultancy's founder Robert Potter and independent researcher Christopher Balding told the Washington Post.

The OKIDB was found to contain information on more than two million people, including at least 50,000 Americans and tens of thousands of people in prominent public positions including political, military, and business leaders.

This trove of data includes biographies and service records of aircraft carrier captains in the US Navy, profiles and family maps of foreign leaders, and social media activity from overseas US military installations, reported the Post which obtained part of the database from the consultancy.

Files were stored by the company on former Acting Secretary of the Navy Thomas Modly including his wife and children, education and private-sector background.

Also listed on the database were the USS Dwight Eisenhower and Nimitz Navy carriers and former chief of naval operations John M. Richardson.

There is no evidence that the data is currently being used by the Chinese government.

However, Zhenhua's marketing and recruiting documents describe the firm as patriotic and the military as its primary target customer, according to the Post.

As well as concerns the data is being passed to Beijing officials, Zhenhua also counts tech firms TRS and Huarong as well as state-owned company Global Tone Communication Technology among its corporate partners.

Meth shipments entering the U.S. from Mexican border in record numbers during coronavirus pandemic

It may not be business as usual for restaurants and hair salons throughout the U.S. thanks to the coronavirus crisis, but methamphetamines have been coming across the border at an all-time high in recent months.

This is according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers, who report that Mexican cartels have been finding more unusual ways of smuggling drugs into America during the pandemic. In particular, they say they’ve seen a big spike in fentanyl and meth at the southern border.

The precursors that are used to make methamphetamine, like the cold medicine pseudoephedrine, remain cheap and abundant, so meth has been a consistent market for the cartels even as coronavirus threatens other operations. In some cases, the cartels are getting chemical precursors for both meth and fentanyl from China.

The director of field operations in the Tucson field office, Guadalupe Ramirez Jr., said that although their field office is the smallest, they are often ranked second or third when it comes to narcotics seizures. And while other locations are reporting rises in meth, Ramirez said Tucson has seen a big rise in fentanyl.

So far, the total volume of meth they’ve seized is nearly double that of all of last year, and we’re just entering into September. Although the volumes of meth seized have been rising steadily over the past few years, the recent spike has been a significant one. In the fiscal year 2019, 68,585 pounds of meth were sized by the Office of Field Operations nationwide; the amount seized so far this year is already standing at 118,153 pounds.

Summer of seizures

Officers in Laredo, Texas, report near-daily meth seizures. In a pair of law enforcement operations at the World Trade Bridge last month, CBP officers intercepted meth shipments with a street value of nearly $30 million. Just a few days later, they seized a further $3.3 million worth of meth.

In early August, CBP officers found 300 kilograms of meth inside crates filled with cactus pads during an inspection of a semi-truck in San Diego. On a different occasion, an ultralight aircraft was caught dumping a load of meth near the border between California and Mexico. Agents saw it flying at a low altitude and found a bag with 151 pounds of meth inside with a street value of around $340,000. A similar incident took place in July, when 145 pounds of meth were found in a low-flying ultralight aircraft.

The price of these street drugs is also being affected by the pandemic. As law enforcement hits their supply line, the price goes up. Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Joaquin Enriquez said that the price of meth has gone from $1,700 per pound at the start of the year to $4,000 per pound because it’s grown more difficult to transport it and get it through the borders with COVID-19-related security measures.

Because the borders are closed to all but essential travel during the coronavirus pandemic, CBP officers report that criminals are becoming a lot more creative about the routes they are using and the methods of concealment they employ now that it’s harder to blend in with normal traffic.

Ramirez told Fox News that while their traffic has dropped by 20 to 24 percent for pedestrians and passenger vehicles, their narcotic seizures have risen by 40 percent.

Ramirez noted: “Now you see deeper concealments, smaller quantities, harder to find, and you see more people walking across with the narcotics strapped to them. We’ve seen a huge increase in the internal carriers through our ports of entry.”

CBP officers say that as long as there is a market for these drugs in the U.S., smugglers will continue to find innovative ways to skirt the law and bring them into the country.

The Oscars will force “diversity quotas” to promote transgender, liberal rainbow characters in all Hollywood movies

Emmy Award-winning actress Kirstie Alley went public with the Oscar’s new dictatorial plan for all upcoming Hollywood movies.

Starting in 2024, the Academy of Motion pictures will institute “diversity quotas” as a requirement for selecting “Best Picture” at upcoming Oscar award ceremonies. The Oscars will now be in the business of dictating artistic creativity, in an effort to promote transgender, multi-racial, liberal rainbow characters in all Hollywood movies.

Hollywood creativity now being dictated entirely by the Left

Film makers will be shunned from the Oscars if they do not write in liberal narratives and include various messages and characters from the LGBTQ+ community. These diversity quotas could very well force film makers to include Black Lives Matter themes and promote other left-wing political causes in order to get recognition.

Kirstie Alley blew the lid on the Oscar’s new plan in a September 8 tweet: “I’ve been in the motion picture Academy for 40 years. The Academy celebrates freedom of UNBRIDLED artistry expressed through movies. Well, it did. But according to the new rules, if your film about a 12th century Viking raiding party so happens to be the greatest cinematic achievement of all time and there’s no Latino onscreen nor alternate history twist where said Vikings accidentally wind up visiting African villages and learning advanced navigation techniques from wise, kindly villagers, then it won’t be considered for Hollywood’s biggest award.”

In an effort to force tolerance, the Left has become the most intolerant of all, hijacking entire institutions and forcing “diversity quotas” to represent every liberal, rainbow theme throughout the culture. If it wasn’t already obvious that left-wing political agendas and forced diversity quotas weren’t being forced into Hollywood movies, well it’s about to get worse. Social justice warriors have completely hijacked the movie industry, turning Hollywood into a liberal echo chamber.

In order to get recognition, film makers will have to sell out to the demands of social justice warriors and promote their left-wing agendas. Film makers will be required to include various races and sexual orientations throughout their films in order to be consider for best picture. It’s expected that conservatives will look the other way, but Hollywood’s control on content and dictatorship of creativity has become so powerful that the actors and actresses within Hollywood are beginning to speak out.

Kirstie Alley is one of the first to speak out: “Anyone not obsessed with identity politics can see how this is the entertainment industry stymying creativity. The new RULES to qualify for ‘best picture’ are dictatorial .. anti-artist… Hollywood you’re swinging so far left you’re bumping into your own ass.”

Tolerance is one thing, but when the Oscars start to mandate arbitrary diversity percentages; they have successfully destroyed the creative process, polluting the culture. Gone are the days of making a movie. In order to get mainstream success, directors will have to kneel to the radical Left and their facade of equality and tolerance.
