The original Constitution does appear to have been changed, for example, removing a prohibition on lawyers serving in government or something like that. Can't remember exactly. Regardless, we have been living under various declared 'Emergencies' for about 150 years. I believe this situation is being stopped, and President Trump will return us to true Constitutional Republic status
