Trying to find the symbolism that these time travelers have left us.

Was thinking about this line we always hear here, “You have more than you know.”

Went looking for the quote.

Found this Shakespeare quote from The Tempest (the Storm):

“Have more than you show, speak less than you know.”

And then I happened upon a Maslov quote.

Andrew Maslov, as in Maslov’s Hierarchy of needs.

Interestingly, when I searched for the quote tonight, intending to post it, Google and Bing didn’t serve it up even though I was specifying Maslov along with the phrase.

However, I found it with Duck Duck Go on Pinterest.

“You need less than you think and you have more than you know.” – Maslov

I thought about this need vs. want vs. know.

This made me think of the Stones song from all those rallies (and JFKJr’s favorite).

“You can't always get what you want

But if you try some time you find

You get what you need.”

Are there messages in this lyrics and in this literature. Are we watching a movie (or play) that repeats itself time after time after time, century after century?
