A fiction work I have mentioned, before, made use of genetically modified soldiers as part of a clandestine program. Unwittingly, however, their souls were those of a much higher power than a human being. 'Guardian' or 'patron spirit' type thing, as older customs would call them.

Frankly, I am more disturbed by the accuracy of my intuitions and deductions before 'autist' type conspiracy investigation, than I am relieved by them. I feel as though there is some kind of duty I am falling radically short of due to a lack of a coherent view of it… Or the confidence to act on it. As, frankly, I feel more like the broken clock my world is set to rather than anything else - despite what me ego loves to insist.

DNA is a far more dynamic thing than many first believed it to be. There is not only the coding, but there are various cues that can be appended that cue transcriptase.

For example, abuse causes methylation of certain protein groups that govern the synthesis and function of chemicals like seratonin. Which is in part why the chemical imbalance in homosexuals exists. Homosexuality and abuse show an extremely strong correlation with each other. Particularly sexual contact prior to 14 (almost always an indication of sexual abuse within the family friends thereof).

There are other processes that allow outright full new sequences to be coded in - usually reserved for mieosis, but there have been other examples noted. Viruses can potentially insert genetic code into our cell DNA, though it rarely results in a sequence that gets actively transcripted.

I don't think they are really into the game of tinkering with our genes that way just yet, not on the population scale. If anything, I think they are interested in logging geneology and trying to prune the branches of certain trees. They do not have absolute power, and branches have escaped over the centuries, particularly during the Germanic and Slavic enlightenment eras. Shit got squirrelly on them.

I think their goal is mainly judgmental/wrathful, more so than anything else at this point. That is what this has all been about since ancient times - killing the rightful heirs (Cain) to prevent/spite the fruition of God's plan.
