Decided to take a quick peek at Ancestry.com, as they now offer DNA testing as well.

Founders seem to have some sort of involvement with the LDS church.

Currently owned by Permira (private equity firm) whose portfolio includes TeamViewer, LegalZoom, Metalogix, BakerCorp (kek) and Telepizza (kekkek) to name a few.

Might be worth a deeper dig.

I can't say, but check this:

>"Ancestry is partnered with Calico, a company focused on longevity research and therapeutics, in an effort to investigate human heredity of lifespan. Together, they evaluate anonymized data from millions of public family trees and a growing database of over one million genetic samples. AncestryDNA and Calico will work together to analyze and investigate the role of genetics and its influences in families experiencing unusual longevity using Ancestry's proprietary databases, tools and algorithms. Calico will then focus its efforts to develop and commercialize any potential therapeutics that emerge from the analysis.[82]"

Investigating LONGEVITY and "THERAPEUTICS" through our heredity and now DNA??

Which leads me to this:

>Calico is a research and development biotech company founded on September 18, 2013 by Bill Maris[3][4][2][1] and backed by Google with the goal of combating aging and associated diseases.[5] In Google's 2013 Founders' Letter, Larry Page described Calico as a company focused on "health, well-being, and longevity." The company's name is an acronym for "California Life Company".[6][7]

>In 2015, Google restructured into Alphabet Inc., making Calico a subsidiary of the new company along with Google and others.[8]

I think you're right, Anon. 23 and Ancestry probably use the same labs!!!

Subsidiary of GOOG/Alphabet.

Partnered with AncestryDNA.

Goal: Investigate human heredity of lifespan, combat aging, develop anti-aging "therapeutics"

Just the tip I think.

>At the end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018, Calico lost two top scientists; in December 2017 Hal Barron, its head of R&D, left for GlaxoSmithKline, and in March 2018 Daphne Koller, who was leading their AI efforts, left to pursue other unnamed opportunities.

Names ring a bell?
