Concur, I prefer red/orange myself. But colorshift was/is a problem. Technology Connections channel did a video on colorshifting
Reason I stated theory is that some evidence states that nightvision can be retained with lower threshold lighting of any color, not just red/green
Hazard a guess you like me hate modern vehicle LED illumination that is way too bright can cannot be dimmed down enough on dark roads. God bless old rheostats and good old fashioned engineering o7
