Michigan Court Allows Third Party Collection of Absentee Ballots (So-Called “Ballot Harvesting”) in the Weekend Before Election Day, and Requires States To Accept Ballots Arriving Up to 2 Weeks After Election Day if Postmarked the Day Before

I expect this will be appealed as have other Michigan fights over the ballot rules.

You can find the opinion here. https://www.democracydocket.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/45/2020/07/20-000108-MM-Opinion-and-Order.pdf

  1. Enforcement of the ballot receipt deadlines in MCL 168.759b and MCL 168.764a as they

relate to the date and time by which absentee ballots must be received by the clerk in order

to be tallied, is enjoined for this election only. All ballots postmarked no later than one

day before election day, i.e., November 2, 2020, and received by the deadline for certifying

election results, are eligible to be counted in the same manner as all provisional ballots

Law and Order being deployed scares the shit out of the LEFT, you are going to jail asshat !

https://www.leftvoice.org/denver-blm-activists-and-psl-members-arrested-charged-with-multiple-felonies

On September 17, six protest leaders, including four members of the Party of Socialism and Liberation, were arrested in Denver, Colorado in a coordinated police action. Those arrested are now being threatened with a litany of bogus felony charges, including “kidnapping.” Four of the arrested individuals — Russel Ruch, Lillian House, Joel Northam, and Eliza Lucero — are protest leaders who have denounced the crimes of the Colorado police, most notably the racist murder of Elijah McClain. The repression against these activists, and many others, is nothing short of police-state retribution.

It is clear from the manner of the arrests that the Denver area police are trying to punish and intimidate activists. Russel Ruch, for instance, was followed to Home Depot and arrested in the parking lot; Lillian House was surrounded by five police cars as she was driving; and a S.W.A.T team was sent to Joel Northam’s home. According to the 30-page long arrest affidavits, the police used livestream footage, call transcripts, and social media posts to build a case against those arrested. These coordinated arrests, which utilized both surveillance and brute force, aim to instill fear in every Denver area activist. “Protest, and you could be next” is the message being sent. And the absurd list of felony charges, known as “charge stacking,” means the arrested activists could be facing years, if not decades, in prison.

The arrest of these protest leaders in Denver are part of a larger nationwide crack-down on the Black Lives Matter movement. Across the country, protesters have been snatched off the streets by the police or federal forces in unmarked vehicles. In New York City, the NYPD used facial-recognition software to find and harass a Black Lives Matter activist. And earlier this month, in Washington, federal marshals gunned down Portland activist Michael Reinoehl without warning as he walked to his car.

According to BuzzFeed News the emails show officials expressed concern over messaging and sought to “counter the narrative (Trump) has established.”

https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/california-says-fraud-inflated-jobless-claims-in-recent-weeks-1.1496039

(Bloomberg) – Scammers appear to have inflated jobless claims numbers in California by the hundreds of thousands in recent weeks, likely making national tallies of Americans on unemployment benefits look even worse than they already were.

Between mid-August and the first week of September, applications for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance a federal relief program intended for self-employed workers and independent contractors doubled in California to more than 524,000, far above claim levels when the federal program first launched in April, the state’s Employment Development Department said Thursday.

After the most populous state took action to deter suspected scammers from filing false applications in hopes of getting payments, PUA applications dropped sharply to 145,790, a decline of more than 72%, the department said.

In addition, California’s figures show a wide discrepancy with nationally-reported data on continuing PUA claims in California. While the federal Department of Labor reports that more than 6 million Californians are claiming PUA benefits each week, the state’s labor department shows that figure below 2 million, pointing to further data-reporting issues.

The Department of Labor didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

Biden is Fracking crazy

https://pjmedia.com/election/matt-margolis/2020/09/18/biden-flip-flops-again-to-support-banning-fracking-again-n940707

During Joe Biden’s CNN town hall event Thursday, Biden made a huge mess out of his position on fracking, attempting to claim support for fracking before finally acknowledging that fracking workers would be forced to “transition” out of the industry.

“You said you won’t ban fracking but that you gradually want to move away from it ultimately. It sounds like you’re trying to have it both ways,” noted CNN’s Anderson Cooper. “Politically it’s understandable why you might say that, but if fracking contributes to climate change, and climate change is an existential threat, why should fracking continue at all?”

“Well, fracking has to continue because we need a transition,” Biden replied. “There’s no rationale to eliminate, right now, fracking.”

This is the complete opposite of what he said a few weeks ago when he unequivocally declared he would not ban fracking at all, even accusing President Trump about lying about his position on the issue.

“I am not banning fracking. Let me say that again: I am not banning fracking. No matter how many times Donald Trump lies about me,” Biden said while campaigning in Pennsylvania.

Funny, girl gets in her face

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/the-views-joy-behar-shuts-down-interview-after-gop-candidate-kim-klacik-invokes-blackface-controversy

The View quickly ended an interview with GOP congressional candidate Kimberly Klacik after she invoked an old controversy involved co-panelist Joy Behar.

Behar called for a commercial break on Friday after Klacik, who is black, brought up a Halloween costume of an "African woman" she wore in the 1970s.

The blowup took place after Klacik said she did not believe President Trump's rhetoric about the coronavirus resulted in more lives being lost, a comment which set Behar off, demanding that she put some "blame on your president."

"Is this Joy speaking? The same Joy that paraded around in blackface not too long ago? Come on Joy, I don't think you should be asking these questions," the GOP candidate running for Maryland's 7th Congressional District, retorted.

Behar shot back, "That’s not true. Excuse me — excuse me. The black community had my back. They know that that was not blackface. That was an homage. Oh, please."

Klacik added, "The black community has my back as well."

"The black community has your back?" co-host Sunny Hostin cut in. "The black community has your back? The black community did not vote for you. The black community did not vote for you. What planet are you living on? What planet are you living on?"
