A viral video is making the rounds across the internet, featuring black anti-Black Lives Matter protesters in various stages of discussion about the movement, what it means to be black in America, and what "black lives matter" really means as a concept.
At the time of this reporting, the video — published on the Daily Wire's Facebook page — has been shared more than 4,000 times.

No More Drill Sergeant 'Shark Attack': Army Moves Toward Kinder Basic Training Start
The U.S. Army has replaced the chaotic reception recruits entering basic training have long received from shouting drill sergeants with a training event designed to create a bond with their teammates and leaders.
Day one of Army Basic Combat Training has always been a rite of passage that involved menacing groups of drill sergeants descending on terrified recruits, yelling commands and ordering trainees to perform push-ups and other exercises with packed duffel bags strapped to their backs.
"Commonly referred to as the shark attack, this non-documented period of instruction was developed during our draft Army years," Command Sgt. Maj. Robert Fortenberry, the CSM of the Infantry School at Fort Benning, Georgia, said in a video presentation at the recent 2020 Maneuver Warfighter Conference.
"Drill sergeants were charged with the [evaluating] trainees' ability to handle stress, singling out the perceived undesirables by enveloping them in a manner that emulated a shark attack," he continued. "This activity, however, does not instill the spirit of the infantry; it betrays the innate trust between teammates and, worse, betrays the crucial bond of trust with our leaders."
Fortenberry described how Benning's 22-week infantry one-station unit training has replaced the shark attack with "The First 100 Yards," a new introductory training event being instituted at Basic Combat Training sites across the Army.
The new training exercise is designed to put new trainees through a series of physically and mentally challenging events that will build an initial foundation of "belief in one's self, belief in your teammates, and a belief in the leaders with whom they serve," Fortenberry said.
The Army began creating this new approach to the beginning of BCT during the spring, when it had to implement new safety procedures to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, Col. Richard McNorton, spokesman for Training and Doctrine Command, told Military.com.
Recruits coming in during the pandemic were already facing a highly stressful environment, so leaders at all the basic training bases agreed that the shark attack ritual should go, McNorton said.
"That's not how we want soldiers to view our NCOs," he said, adding that the new approach is being taught at the Drill Sergeant Academy at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. "It's completely changed the dynamic of how we have done Basic Combat Training for the past 50-60 years."

VA: Voters Form Massive Lines For In-Person, Early Voting After Trump Encourages Healthy Americans To Go To Polls, Dems Tell Them To Vote By Mail
The Democrats and their allies in the media have been attempting to frighten Americans for several months about voting in person over fears of contracting COVID. They’ve gone out of their way to push back on Trump’s claims about the potential for voter fraud, demanding that mail-in voting is a “safe and effective” option.
100 Percent Fed Up – President Trump has been very vocal about encouraging healthy voters to go to the polls, and not risk having their vote be lost or tampered with by people who may not want him to be re-elected.
Twitter, like Facebook, is doing their part to encourage voters to do the opposite of whatever Trump suggests. Every time President Trump tweets about skipping the mail-in voting and going to the polling places to vote in person, Twitter tags his posts with warnings, essentially arguing with the President, telling his followers that vote by mail is safe.
Trump also tweeted a message to VA voters, asking for their votes. He reminded them that their Democrat governor is coming after their guns and about Governor Northam’s unpopular support for late-term abortion and infanticide in his state.
Today, on the first day of in-person early voting in Virginia, citizens were seen forming massive lines, in spite of the media’s hysterical warnings about possible exposure to COVID related to in-person voting.
Although ABC News Senior Correspondent Mary Bruce didn’t show any of the interviews with voters, she claims voters told them that they are excited to vote and not taking any chances.

How much does this internal agenda affect the US' foreign policies, and its relations with its allies and partners, including its relations with Russia? In your view, how does the US’ principle of exceptionalism affect international processes?
Sergei Lavrov: I think that everyone who is closely and professionally following the US political in-fighting, has deduced that political in-fighting has always been a motive for the positions held both by the Republicans and the Democrats. What we are observing today is no exception. The key thing [for parties] here is to collect as many arguments as possible to outrun your rivals in the information, rhetorical and polemical field. The debates between the main presidential candidates, from the Democratic and Republican parties, - are on the horizon, and the issue of the "Russian meddling" in US internal affairs is at the top of the agenda. However, in recent weeks or months, the most-discussed topic has been China, which today ranks first in the list of the United States’ "enemies" trying to do everything possible to trigger some "disastrous" processes in the US.
We’ve gotten used to that over the past years. It started under the Obama administration. It was he who was saying, including publicly, that the Russian authorities had intentionally taken a line of harming the relations between Moscow and Washington. It was he who was speaking about Russia’s meddling in the 2016 presidential elections, and imposing some unprecedented sanctions, including illegal takeovers of Russian property in the United States, the expulsion of dozens of Russian diplomats and their families, etc.
By the way, the thesis about American exceptionalism is shared by both the Republicans and the Democrats, as well as all other political movements in the United States. We have repeatedly said that history has seen attempts to portray oneself as an arbiter of humanity's fate, as someone impeccable and most sapient; these attempts have never come to any good.

CA Family Accuses Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris of Trespassing on Fire-Damaged Property for ‘Photo Op’
A California family has accused Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) of trespassing on their property for a photo opportunity after wildfires ravaged their home.
“The California lawmakers visited Fresno County Tuesday to survey the damage of the flames engulfing much of the West Coast, and received a briefing from Cal Fire and U.S. Forest Service officials,” Fox 29 reported.
The two reportedly stopped at Pine Ridge Elementary in Auberry, then walked across the street to the family’s residence.

Trampas Patten, who identified himself in a Facebook post as the son of the homeowners, said he was “really frustrated” that “these two politicians used my parents [sic] loss for a photo opportunity to push their political agenda”:

Think about this when you go to the polls in a few weeks to vote. Look at this picture closely, imagine it is what is left of your hard work, hopes, dreams, place of sanctuary. Patten added that his parents had not yet been allowed to return to their property to survey the damage.
“I guess those property taxes my parents pay allow politicians to do this! Private property doesn’t exist in California anymore!” he stated.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Newsom took the photo opportunity to blame so-called climate change for the devastating fires:

However, prior to his visit, the governor thanked President Trump for his help in regard to the wildfires, according to Breitbart News.
“I want to thank you and acknowledge the work you have done to be immediate in your response,” he said, adding that the response from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) had been “profoundly significant.”
Patten’s sister, Bailee, told reporters that seeing photos of their parent’s fire-ravaged property for the first time online hurt.
“This isn’t just devastation, this is our lives. This is where we grew up, these are our memories. And to not have that — to feel so helpless — and I guess that’s what we’ve all been thinking, is that we were so helpless,” Bailee noted.
“Because we weren’t there, we haven’t gotten to deal with our loss. Instead, we’re having to watch it play out on social media and news,” she concluded.

Tulsi Gabbard Proposes Plan to Ban Ballot Harvesting for 2020 Election
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) has introduced a plan to effectively ban ballot harvesting ahead of the 2020 presidential election.
This week, Gabbard introduced the Election Fraud Prevention Act, co-sponsored by Rep. Rodney Davis (R-IL), that would amend the Help America Vote Act of 2002 to ban federal payments to states that allow ballot harvesting.
Ballot harvesting, which a Michigan judge cleared for use in the election on Friday, allows political operatives to collect and deliver as many ballots as they want so long as they are not paid based on the number of ballots they deliver. The loophole allows these operatives to be paid in most cases.
Gabbard said the reform is vital to ensuring that special interest groups do not corrupt the voting process for voters.
Gabbard said in a statement.:
This bill protects assistance from family members, household members, and caregivers as well as election officials and mail carriers acting in their official capacity. Voters will still have assistance, if they need it, to turn in their vote, but this bill makes sure that third-party special interest groups don’t get between voters and the ballot box.
The plan would require that states only permit mail-in ballots to be handled by election officials, mail carriers, family members, and caregivers of the voter.
Nevada’s June primary shows huge issues with mail-in voting. In Las Vegas, Nevada, more than 223,000 mail-in ballots were deemed “undeliverable” in the election — about 17 percent of the total number of mail-in ballots sent out to voters, unsolicited.
Federal election data reveals that since 2012, about 28.4 million mail-in ballots have gone missing in each of the last four election cycles. According to Pew Research Center analysis, there are potentially 24 million ineligible or inaccurate voter registrations on state voter rolls.
Recent data has not shown a compelling public health justification for mail-in voting. In Wisconsin’s April election, only 52 of more than 400,000 voters and poll workers were confirmed to have contracted the Chinese coronavirus. None of those cases were fatal. This equals an infection rate below two-hundredths of one percent.

It culminated in June when we wrote that the "Unprecedented Surge In New CMBS Delinquencies Heralds Commercial Real Estate Disaster. " The ongoing crisis in structured debt backed by commercial real estate in general and hotel properties in particular, prompted Wall Street to launch the "Big Short 3.0" trade: betting against hotel-backed loans, which had the broadest represented in the CMBX 9 index, whose fulcrum BBB- series has continued to slide even as the broader market rebounded.
Yet while prominent failures within the CMBS universe had been rare due to overcollateralization of even highly distressed portfolios, as the economic slump drags on, as various stimulus measures expire and as landlords fail to make rent payment, the various embedded liquidity buffers have been gradually draining and as a result we are now approaching the moment where one or more prominent names are about to suffer a spectacular blow up.

Trump PAC Threatens Libel Suit Over 'Blatant' Lies About Obama's Voice in USA Today 'Fact-Check'
This week, a lawyer for the pro-Trump Committee to Defend the President PAC sent a demand letter to USA Today, demanding the outlet retract its “fact-check” claiming that the PAC lied to claiming that a quote about Democratic “plantation politics” came in “Obama’s voice.”
In February, the PAC launched ads against Joe Biden. In the ads, Barack Obama’s voice says, “Plantation politics. Black people in the worst jobs. The worst housing. Police brutality rampant. But when the so-called black committeemen came around election time, we’d all line up and vote the straight Democratic ticket. Sell our souls for a Christmas turkey.” The PAC ran a similar ad in July.
Last week, USA Today ran an article claiming to “fact-check” the quote. In the article, Ella Lee claimed that the “words from ad [are] not Obama’s, [but rather were] misused.”
“The words in the ad came straight from Obama’s 1995 book ‘Dreams from my Father‘ — but the words chosen for the ad aren’t his own and are misused. The voice in the ad may be Obama’s, as he narrated the book’s audiobook,” Lee wrote.
Republican lawyer Ben Barr, who represents the Committee to Defend the President, sent USA Today a letter claiming that the article involved “blatantly lying to Americans” and threatening a libel lawsuit.
The USA Today story “falsely alleges the Committee ‘misused’ President Obama’s quote, falsely states President Obama was not the individual issuing the quote, and alleges it reached out to the Committee, yet did not do so through any of the Committee’s press inquiry options on its website or public phone numbers,” according to the letter.
Such false allegations form the basis for libel claims, the PAC warns. Through Bar, the PAC demanded USA Today correct or retract its “fact-check,” and vowed to “vigorously pursue any and all legal remedies” if the outlet fails to comply.
“The Committee to Defend the President is sick and tired of being erroneously ‘fact-checked’ by media elites and their Silicon Valley allies, all of whom have an axe to grind with President Trump,” Ted Harvey, the PAC’s chairman, said in a statement. “Once again, news outlets like USA Today are blatantly lying to Americans, who are rapidly losing trust in the anti-Trump mainstream media. We are proud to say that all of our ads are accurate and fair, and we will continue to defend the truth as we help re-elect President Trump.”
To be fair to USA Today, Obama’s book attributes the “plantation politics” quote to a character named Smitty. Yet the characters in Obama’s book are composite characters, not actual human beings.
Barr countered Lee’s claims in a statement to PJ Media.
“First, the ad in question included a running subtitle indicating this was just ‘Obama’s voice.’ It was his voice because he narrated his book, Dreams from My Father. It doesn’t read it is Obama’s opinion or the like. Thus, USA Today making claims of false attribution is simply false—President Obama did use his own voice to narrate this quote,” Barr argued.

We House Arrested Some Folks
Being a vandal and a politician, but I repeat myself, means having zero shame. Case in point the leadership of the City of Nashville. They were caught red-handed suppressing the data of COVID-19 transmissions to support their draconian business closure edicts.
And yet they still persist in demanding citizens commit economic hari kiri and cover their faces to keep them from losing theirs.
Having first implemented contact tracing measures of dubious legality and then finding out that bars and restaurants were not major vectors of virus transmission the Mayor’s Office chose to keep this information from the public, according to a report from local FOX 17 news.
This is yet another example of a Democrat Mayor in a major U.S. city acting suspiciously during a public health situation which has turned our entire society upside down. And it is not hard to believe that it was done for purely political purposes.
Mayor Bill DeBlasio in New York City still doesn’t want the city to return to any semblance of normalcy because he’s still hoping that the second wave of COVID-19 will sweep through, like the Angel of Death during Passover, and smite all the non-believers into oblivion, or at least scare them enough not to vote for Donald Trump.
It is truly sickening to watch this pathetic psycho-drama play out and it means there should be criminal charges filed against cities and states which caused material harm to millions of Americans during this sad period of U.S. history.

Trump the Second doesn’t go far enough in his condemnation of this behavior. It isn’t just jobs and/or businesses. Those jobs and businesses represent significant portions of people’s lives.
Property isn’t just some artificial construct of the patriarchy it is truly a physical manifestation of a person’s past decisions with his most precious natural resource… time.
And the Mayor’s office of Nashville decided to value that time and effort of countless people as worth nothing in the face of his political needs to oust Donald Trump from power.

John Brennan Tells MSNBC He’s “More Worried Today Than I Ever Have Been Before” for America’s Future
John Brennan joined MSNBC on Friday to bash President Trump.
This was after the Former Obama CIA Director was interviewed for eight hours in August by U.S. Attorney John Durham at CIA headquarters.
The far left political operative told Nicolle Wallace, “After listening to the public statements of Donald Trump and William Barr, especially over the last several days, I am more worried today than I ever have been before in the health and stability of our government.”
Rep. Devin Nunes, the hero who sought the truth and uncovered the coup attempt of President Trump, says that Obama’s former CIA Director John Brennan is hardly in the clear as far as the investigation into his wrongdoings goes.
Brennan has lied under oath about not including the Steele dossier into the Intelligence Community’s assessment of Russian collusion in 2017. Brennan also has said publicly that all roads with Trump lead to Putin.

UK, France, Germany Say Iran Sanctions Relief to Continue Past Sept 20
On Friday, the UK and France and Germany announced that Iran sanctions relief will continue past September 20.
In a letter to the United Nations (UN) Security Council, the three countries said they have "worked tirelessly to preserve the nuclear agreement and remain committed to do so," also adding that any decision or action taken to reimpose sanctions against Iran would be "incapable of legal effect."
The UN sanctions relief for Iran was agreed to under a 2015 nuclear deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Under the deal, Iran agreed to dismantle part of its nuclear program in exchange for relief from economic sanctions.
In May 2018, the United States pulled out of the 2015 JCPOA and reimposed sanctions against Iran that had been lifted under the terms of the deal, as well as enacted new ones.
