Did some research and found “rig for red” is a submariner term for for conditioning the bridge crews’ eyes to eventual darkness as the sub is approaching periscope depth. The normal bridge lighting is changed to red, then the bridge is mostly darkened when the periscope is raised. One does not want bridge light shining out the periscope lens and giving away the sub’s position and relative safety.

So, if one or more of the Q team are former submariners, they might be using “rig for red” in its naval meaning. Prepare yourself (your vision) for darkness, so as not to give away our position and the advantage of stealth.

Make of this what you will, but it is one way to look at the message.

If the submariner definition of “rig for red” is Q’s meaning, there might not be more Q posts for a while.

They might be going stealth and working silently and invisibly for a while.

This also fits in with Q’s instruction to leave mentions of Q out of our social media posts.
