Recess Appointment?

Looks like the end of October the Senate is not in Session. Righfully so, as most incumbents will be campaigning for re-election.

Recess appointments must be conferred in the next selection. Could Trump & McConnell make a handshake deal and basically follow the Scarmucci Model? Appoint someone that will be able to hold down challenges with election fraud, mass mail in balloting, etc?

This will ensure confidence in the electoral process and give Senate Republicans an out of not having to vote on a confirmation until AFTER they win re-election.

This is not an un-precedent move either. Over 10 Supreme Court Justices have been appointed this way. Last was with the Eisenhower Admin.
