Rereading crumbs, Post #142 on Nov 12 covering Titanic, Hindenburg, etc.

Q asks 'who was specifically invited? Less than 10.'

There were a group of 9 men who were a part of the Titanic Guarantee Group (evaluate/troubleshoot the ship on its maiden voyage): Roderick Robert Crispin Chisholm, Thomas Andrews, William Campbell, Alfred Fleming Cunningham, Anthony Wood Frost, Robert Knight, Francis Parkes, Henry William Marsh Parr, and Ennis Hastings Watson. All men perished and no bodies were recovered or identified. All their notes from the voyage were also lost.

This article fails to mention that the leader of the group, Thomas Andrews, was nephew to Lord Pirrie, owner of Harland and Wolff ship builders.
