Jewish Law required burial to take place as soon as possible following death.
It's stated, "Thou shalt surely bury him the same day.
"His body shall not remain all night" (Deuteronomy 21:23).
Jewish law, therefore, demands that the deceased be buried within 24 hours following death.
If there's a delay for 'Rosh Hashana, there isn't (!), it's still September…!
