The way we appoint and confirm judges and SC Justices is a fatal flaw in our constitution. When it was written the states controlled the Senate so it wasn't so obvious a flaw. But now that no entity but easily manipulated voters control the Senate the flaw is front and center. With the filibuster essentially gone it only takes 50 Senators, the VP, and President to destroy the country via judicial tyranny. Democrats have threatened to pack the court under FDR and are again threatening the same.

The power to select and confirm judges and SC justices must be spread wide across the country like every other power in our government. Continuing to allow only 52 people to possess the power to destroy this country is a major threat to our freedom.
